Is it just me......
« on: November 01, 2006, 12:23:36 pm »
.....or is there a snafu happening with the cool tools? I was farting around, and thought it would be fun to have a go at the "graph my labs" function, as I have a years' worth of labs to play with.
Once I got to the page with the instructions, I read the steps necessary to begin, and was advised to "press the button below"   ......but there is no button.  Am I missing something? I just know I probably am, but don't know what.
It just doesn't pay to try this kinda stuff when I'm having one of my confused days. :-\    sheesh!

Use the "graph my labs" myself.  As best as I remember it is kind of funky when you are choosing what to do.  Just keep trying and I am sure you will figure it out.

i don't think it's you.

You can't do step 2 (you can check the box, but there's no link to enter, edit or delete lab results)

1. Click "Add More Tests To Track" to build a list of lab tests that you want to track and graph.
2. Check the box next to one or more tests, then click the appropriate link to enter, edit or delete lab results. (Use the handy Select All checkbox to select all the tests in your list.)

Thank you all for your replies, but I'm telling you that I can't even get into the graphing tool because there is no "button", or link to click on. Not on the three simple steps page, and not from the home page.
I'm now beginning to wonder if iy has something to do with my recent upgrade to IE7.
No big thing, I was just putzing around anyway.
I do appreciate everyone's replies though.

(..getting out my red, green, and blue pens now) ;)  ;D

Hey Lisa,

If you look halfway down the page to your right you will see "Graph My Labs" it is a link instead of a button. It will take you to the next page where you can select the test that you want to graph.

Yep Lisa, its just you (LOL)  ;D

Just kidding.

Actually, its pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

I've been graphing my labs for a while. I finally entered them back to 1992.  (T-cells only, viral loads didn't start till July 1995).

It was kind of fun checking them, though.

What it shows is that, despite my bitching and moaning - and despite all the best efforts of medical science - my cholesterol has been virtually unchanged for the past decade.

I never looked at it until now. Gives me a much better perspective and I feel a lot better about where my numbers are now.

As far as the viral load goes, it has been unchanged since it became undetectable in 1996. The highest before that was 42,000. I thought it had been higher. I guess that's why it pays to record these things.

Interestingly, my T-cell counts have been pretty constant as well. They haven't dipped below 900 since 2000, although they had dropped into the lower 600s back in 1996. The lowest was 430 in late 1995.

Hmmm, I guess that means I can add a little bacon and, maybe, just a bit of cheese, back into my life!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

HUGS,

Mark

I'll give it another whirl tomorrow, when my eyes aren't tired.
Ya know Markie, most of my other numbers (metabolic panel CBc...etc.) have been just fine, but I have not had any cholesterol labs done. I'm quite certain I could easily surpass the quivering little numbers you rattled off in your thread. >:(
However, I was interested in the recently published report that discusses the relationship that platelets play in your overall numbers game.

Besides.....I pretty much knew it was human error anyway....(finding the link)
Ooooooo Mark now you've made me want a bacon, tomato, lettuce wrap. MMmmmmmmmmm :P
PS...Just went back to that page....there is NO link displayed.

Hi Lisa, did mine the other day, so I went back there to see .

On the first page after clicking 'cool tools' (upper left here), on the right, under the icon of the graph says 'click here to graph labs', clicked it. A page of instruction, then a box with 'continue' at the end. the next page was e-mail and password log-in,then a list of lab choices to graph shows up.

Maybe this helps?

I really think this has something to do with the little glitches described by Ray. I think it really does have to do with the whole IE7 thing.
I've been thinking of reverting back to IE6 until all of the bugs are worked out.
My numbers are fine, and I don't need to graph them, i was just gonna play around with it anyway. I know I entered some numbers about a year ago, but haven't even looked at it in ages.
Oh well....I guess tomorrow will be spent reverting back to IE6.

Lisa should have said I just looked into it as it isn't graphing just took the numbers. I read something about IE and just got fed up.
Cheers

No Johnny,
No link to be found to even get to the page you describe. Since I now know it has worked for several other people, I'm figuring that it really is the IE7 issue.

..Oh, and the check my meds stuff all works just fine. Just not the graphing link.
