Thanks everyone...I spent yesterday with my mom and step father at my cousins house in New Jersey and it was nice to see the "clan" as well as dogs (including an adorable puppy), cats and a bird.

Tonight I'll get together with some friends for a little dinner and maybe a movie or whatever.

Happy birthday as well to Christine, Melia and David (David and I share the same day AND year (he is about 12 hours older !!!- so there)  :D

I LOVE my birthday! It always reminds me that I'M ALIVE!!!
I always get the urge to phone my parents first and congratulate them on on their special day, for having had such a great daughter, hahaha! :D

Thanks everybody....  As always, Alan (the Birthday messenger of Good Tiding) is on the ball.
Personally I now view birthdays as a day to celebrate yet another year of survival but also a
day to remind myself how important it is that we cherish each and every day of our lives.  I wish
the others a very Happy Birthday and I pray they have many many more. 

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with David's family celebrating my birthday and although it's been
almost two years since David passed away, I felt his presence yesterday when I started to blow out
all those damn candles (did they really have to put fifty two candles on that Chocolate cake) ::) and looked
around at all those smiling faces of his family as they sang to me.  It was a touching moment and although
he is with me in spirit only, I found myself shedding tears of joy that his family would honor me so. 

Of course it may have been the smoke from all those damn candles but I don't think so.....
And Jody.......I thought sure you were the "OLDER" one ::)

Well, a very nice birthday had by me:
 
- Most of the day off work.
- Cards, e-cards, phonecalls, MSN chats and lots of texts (it's the first time my phone has ever warned me about its memory space!)
- A lovely surprise phonecall worth its own mention from none other than our very own Lil' Steve all the way from Oz (thanks again Stephen, that really made my morning!)
- Lemonpie and gingerbeer with my friend
- Very chilled trinket shopping (prezzies for Oz)
- A lovely meal with my best friend (that I've just got back from) that has pretty much finished me off!

All in all, a very very nice birthday!

And now off to bed I crawl; I'm done in...night all and thanks again for all your lovely wishes!Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

A sleepy but happy Melia  :)
