First results from being on treatment

Just thought I'd share some good news because I have noone else to tell but want to share, and I'm quite excited. Since finding out I was poz my CD4 was going up but I started Triumeq and recently found out my CD4 went from mid 300s to 740 and my viral load went from in the hundreds of thousands to just 187. Feeling very optimistic and since knowing this I just feel like myself again and the only time I've been thinking about HIV lately is when I have to take my pill whereas before it was constantly. I hope everyone else is doing well and to anyone like me a few months ago just know treatment does actually work and it gets better :)

love seeing hiv get the smack down, keep it up

thanks for sharing, really... stories like this are good motivation/inspiration for others that are fighting anxieties

Congrats!  My doctor started me on Triumeq as well and said that I should be undetectable in a very short amount of time too.  My VL was only 18,000 and CD4 was 560 so overall pretty good and am curious to see just how much in changes in a month on the Triumeq.

First labs and specialist visit April 2015
Initial appt and labs: CD4 560 and VL 18,000
Started Triumeq June 2015
VL UD after 30 days on Triumeq, CD4 slowly rising.
