Title: slow rise in cd4

hi all,

as those of you who know me i was diagnosed in Oct 2005 with a CD4 of less than 20 and vl over 750,000.
well went to Dr Tues 23 and i have finally reached a CD4 0f 245 and vl <75 and finally able to come off of fluconazole and zithromax since 2005

Hey Michael!

Well that's great news. My CD4's were 15 (5%) this time last year. As of September just gone, I'd reached 204 (12%).

thanks matty i have just seen so many people start meds and have a fast rise in cd4

I can sympathize with you here.  When diagnosed I was at 179 and languished in the 200's for over a year.  However in the past 6 months have seen them skyrocket into the 500's.  Fortunately for me I have responded very well to my meds.  Hope you continue to see improvements,

Congrats on the latest numbers.  I'm sure you are happy to be relieved of the Zithromax (I hated that stuff)..  :)
