Mutual masturbation

Hey everyone. I am 22 years old and just had my first sexual experience with an older man in an adult theater. We gave each other a handjob, which I know is something safe to do. However, when he finished, some of his semen landed on my penis head, and I kept masturbating with it. I was very far from home, so I didn't wash for many hours and I'm uncircumcised. I'm extremely worried about HIV, every site says that mutual masturbation is safe as long as there isn't genital fluid exchange, while some sites state that it is safe to get fluids on INTACT SKIN, which I know the penis head isn't because it's a mucous membrane and could also have microtears because of the handjob. The only NGO in my country that deals with HIV even has an article about this event, stating that if you get someone else's sperm on your penis head, it could potentially transmit HIV. Also, the place we hooked up was extremely dark and the sperm landed on my glans almost immediately, so I'm not sure that the virus managed to inactivate. What should I do? How much at risk am I?

Read your post three times; it's not an HIV risk. Move on with your life.


Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.
