I've been on Atripla for 6 months and my weight has not changed one ounce.  I will say that I feel more hungry now, like all the time, but I've still not gained any weight at all.  I am fairly active but do not have a regular exercise program.  Good luck!

BTW, I was undetectable in less than 4 weeks.  Hope you have the same response!

I recently started Atripla myself. It has actually decreased my appetite. I am 5'7"  and weighted 172LB prior to starting. I now weigh 167.5.  I am also a gym rat. I use to bench 265Lb. I did have to reduce my bench weight a little. This tells me I lost some muscle weight as well. I am adjusting to this new life with Atripla. I am looking to possibly supplement with creatine. But I am not sure yet if creatine has any interactions with Atripla.  Therefore I am proceeding carefully.

I have been on Atripla for about two years - and it has not caused me to gain weight in a negative sense.  I have gained weight because I was pretty skinny when diagnosed, but I got to a good healthy weight I have stayed there without much fluctuation.  I don't eat the healthiest - I love fast food, pizza and chinese food.  Don't assume Atripla is going to cause you to gain weight - a little exercise and the general improvement in your health will make you feel great! Good luck!

I been on atripla for 5 weeks my cd4 went up to from 312 to 399 and my virel is undetectable as of last week, i only have the weird dreams, dizzyness, i have notice that at time iam really hungry and other time i don't feel hungrey at all my weight see t ohave decided to stay around 130-140 no major weigh gain or loss. I have been able to run more often without being completely pooped so i think that a good thing.

hope you have good luck as well.
