Night on the Town in Guerneville
« on: March 16, 2008, 08:10:47 pm »
Yesterday morning, I had a meeting with Pastor Elizabeth, who has agreed to become the new power of attorney for Ms. Seabreeze.  My books checked out to the penny with every dollar accounted for and all receipts intact.  It is clear that I am not to be contacted or otherwise asked for any future assistance and Ms. Seabreeze is the lady Pastors problem.  This calls for a Celebration... ;D

I was invited to go to a tasting at Freemark Abbey Vineyards for their closeout on their 2002 Cab and the day promissed to be excellent food and excellent pour for about 30 bucks per person.  So before rsvp, we started thinking...  The purpose of this event was to sell remaining bottles of the 2002 and after a few hours of good wine and fun with good people, Martyr Card and Visa were the real honored guests, so we decided not to go.

I went to the Rainbow Cattle Company where the RR Sisters had completed a charity round of Bingo and town was festive.  I had a couple Heinekens, talked to a few, and of course, my Case Manager, Sister Frances A. Sissy was there.  A good time was had by all in attendance.

Later, I moved on to the Triple R, they were having Karaoke Night.  I met this man who was really a lot of fun and very attractive, then he started singing his version of some corny song.  Well, never mind  ;D By this time I was on my third or 4 beers of the evening and I never sing without a bottle of Scotch and have to be able to drive home.  I went back to Rainbow Cattle Company for last call, the Sisters were gone, the place was fairly quiet.  Finished Last Call, said Goodnight and came home.  I think, I'll do this again soon  ;D Have the best day
Michael

Michael that sounds like fun.  I love the picture of your case manager.  At the NA convention I went to a few weeks ago, they had kareoke.  One guy sang 'Like a Virgin.'  I told my friend, 'now that takes some balls.'

I've never killed anyone, but I frequently get satisfaction reading the obituary notices.-Clarence Darrow

Glad to read you are free of Ms. Seabreeze. Some people just love being a mess, eh?

Thanks for the read. It was amusing but rather tame, considering it's you. Ah, those mellow, golden years.

 ;)

Ahh, you're so lucky to be able to enjoy alcohol.  I've had to cross it off my list as it wreaks too much havoc with my skin post-HIV.

I always love Guerneville, my friends own a house on the river.  I have thought about moving up there but the problem is finding a job.  Love the country though.

My neighbors, Matt and Matt have a big old log cabin on the River.  They have rebuilt it from the foundation up and have done an extensive remodel.  One of the Matts restores old homes in San Francisco and New York while the other Matt works as a computer programmer in San Francisco.  They often commute.  It has got to be a hard commute.  I have known people who have commuted as much as 4 hours each way every day because they work in the Bay Area and live in Lake County.  Does not make sense to me and the Russsian River is pretty dull during off season.  ;D Have the best day
