Confused & Need Advice
« on: September 05, 2011, 11:56:14 pm »
Hi,

I'm a very paranoid person and I just need advice to see if I am at risk. I went on a date with a guy who was 30 years old (I don't think age matters) and we started french kissing and he bit my lip and I was bleeding a little bit. Not a lot only a little. Then we left and we went to his apartment and we started kissing some more and then he fingered me. After fingering me, I touched the tip of his penis which had some pre-cum on it but not a lot (I heard HIV is more present in precum). I wiped the precum on the blanket. He went under his underwear to fix his penis for like 10 seconds and then afterward he put his fingers inside me (I think - this was 3 months ago so everything is a little blurry). Lets say he did have precum on his fingers, he fingered me, and he is positive (I don't know if he has HIV), do I pose as a risk? I also laid on top of him with both our underwear on.

I do NOT know his HIV status. I did NOT have sex. This is the farthest we went.

Thank you so much in advance. Everything you do on this forum is honestly, inspiring.

You do not have an HIV concern.

Thank you. I took a blood test on Tuesday of last week. I'm free of STD's. The HIV test did not get back to me yet. The doctor said if I do not have anything, he will not contact me.

Marl, as Rod said you did not have a risk for HIV.

Your report indicates to me that you may not be very experienced sexually. As far as sexual risk for HIV is concerned it is actually pretty simple. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as condoms are used everytime for those activities you will be well and effectively protective.

There's no cause for further concern about this incident you have reported. Nor any need for HIV testing.
