Title: Please give opinion
Post by: Young21Skred on February 15, 2009, 05:02:12 pm
Hey good day to all. Hope you are all fine.

I had an experienced with a girl that told me she was not a hooker. Anyways I did not know her and I gave her oral sex. It was just a lick like a taste. I normally smoke cigarettes. After that I smoked a ciggarete without cleaning my mouth. The next day I woke up with hurting lungs and like spitting a very thick substance. It was just a lick I mean my tongue touched her clit. But she had a real foul taste.

I am very skared i contracted chlamydia or ghonorrea and hiv from this experience. I got tested and gave Non Responsive to HIV Syphilis and Herpes. Non responsive for chlamydia.

The lates thing I have is like an itch in my eye. My eye has like a semi dry mucous I feel.

I have read I am at low risk for HIV but I could have it and ghonorrea. I am skared of becoming blind. I am going to an eye doctor tommorrow.

I hope you all enjoy your day. Please post an opinion!

I would also like to state I smoked like 20 minutes after the encounter.

I lost 5 pounds after this incident. And remained feeling sick for like a week. Then I got better. Right know I feel good. No longer have the flu or anything.

Just like a thing on the side of my eye. It feel like a scab but it is really very small. It could leave to blindness so I must go to an eye doctor tommorrow.

See your doctor if you have a concern. It has nothing to do with HIV.

We only address issues regarding HIV here. Anything else you need to discuss with your doctor. And you don't have any reason that I can see to be concerned about HIV.

Cheers.

What is the risk of sharing a ciggarette smoke?

None. HIV is not transmitted in that manner, nor from eating or drinking after someone that has HIV.

i dont get it. so beside vaginal intercourse or anal then the risk is very low?

Sharing saliva is not a spread. What about if someone spits in youre hamburger is that a way of spreading the virus?

Instead of asking silly questions go read the lesson on transmission. You can find the link in the "Welcome" thread.

Young,

Saliva is not infectious where hiv is concerned, so anything involving saliva - including spit - is not risky for hiv infection.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST FOR ANYTHING YOU HAVE BROUGHT TO THIS FORUM, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Ok. But what about being with a person after this experience.

THey told me that if I am promiscous and I have many partners that are not neccesarily HIV + I could be at more risk.

How much of a factor do Bad Habits play in the development of the virus. I mean if I drink Alchohool or Smoke weed will that make the virus develop quicker in my body if I already have it?
Could smoking weed make me more susceptible to HIV?

Young,

The only thing that is going to make you susceptible to hiv infection is unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse with someone of unknown or positive status.

The only time alcohol or drugs come into it is if they make you more likely to not use condoms for intercourse while under the influence.

Ok. But what about being with a person after this experience.

If by being with someone you mean having intercourse, then you need to use a condom. Please go back and re-read my previous post to you (reply #11) - I'm not going to keep repeating myself.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

How does a poor diet play a factor in becoming HIV +

Can a person be susceptible to developing the virus or does someone have to transmit the virus directly?

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Young,

Re-read my last post to you (#13). Your questions have already been answered.

We're not here to continually re-state the same information to you again and again.
