Title: worried unnecesary?
Post by: worriedsp on December 09, 2012, 11:08:47 am
Hello, first of all sorry if my english is not good enough.

I'm a 20 years old male and my situation is this: Last year i have been with 4 different CSW 's. In every encounter I have always used condom for vaginal sex and with the fisrt one, in addition she performed oral sex on me without protection and I performed oral sex on her (she was not on her period) without protection very briefly (like 5 seconds MAXIMUN). Due to the anxiety I went tested few days ago and the results will be on Tuesday; my main question is: CAN I EXPECT THEM TO RETURN NEGATIVE?

Regards.

Whatever you are reporting of your activities leads me to expect you will test negative because nothing you did put you at risk.

For now and for the future you need to know that the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you always use condoms properly for those activities you will be well protected.

Wow, thank you; you answered me in less than 30 seconds hahahah; thank you so much.

I would like to see more opinions only for my pace of mind; I know they are going to say the same but I'm a little worried. My doctor did not surprised about me for asking for the test :S

Thanks again to everybody in this forum.

All of us who are permitted to answer questions on this part of the forum are on the exact same page as regards HIV transmission theory. If we disagreed with a risk assessment, we'd met you know.

Okay, thanks for the clarification

So, in order to conclude with this post: NO RISK and DIDNīT NEED TO TEST AT ALL?, THE RESULTS WILL BE CLEARLY NEGATIVE?

Sorry for the capital letters and thank you again.

Regards.

You don't need to write all in caps. We pay attention to questions without your doing that. And using all caps on the net is considered rude -- as if you are shouting here.

And yes, that's right. There was no risk and there is no need for you to get tested.

The only confirmed sexual HIV transmission vectors are unprotected vaginal and anal sex. Oral sex of any kind is not a legitimate risk.

You wore a condom for penetrative sex, and were therefore protected from HIV. There was no risk nor a need to test specifically over this incident.
