I would post this in youtube links but I thnk it's newsworthy that this young man Steve Grand is openly gay and trying to make a name for himself in country music., a notoriously conservative realm. Good for him!
He is incredibly good looking, has a great voice and can do well if the system doesnt beat him down

I wish Steve Grand well, just like the others, though I think his whole "first openly gay" claim reeks of marketing schtick. But that's part of the music biz too.

Ugh, Why does everything have to have a "message?" Sorry Mark but I think you missed the mark on this one.
On a side note, I hope this guy can shake the "first openly gay country singer" label that's been smacked on him.

I think the "character" he portrays in this video IS real for many. It's not a right or wrong thing, just a real thing.
If everything put out there was presented as the "ideal" it would be a misrepresentation of what exists. (and boring)

maybe S Grand is the first open MALE; but he ain't the first openly gay CW singer by a long shot.
oh, i hate CW but even I knew others had come out before this kid. That's some bad marketing that's been thrown at him. Hopefully it won't come back to bite him in the ass.

I'm sorry Ive been away, Ive had the video on loop and i've been pleasuring myself for 30 hours.
Im not even sure he should be classified as country, yeah they are wearing wranglers and swimming in a tank but his voice is something else to me.
oh btw, KD Lang and Chely Wright came out AFTER they had achieved stardom, and in the case of Lang even after her grammy. Not sure about Weigle and Jenson since Ive never heard of them. Oh btw, (shameless name drop) I had dinner with Chely Wright in Austin after she performed at RAIN about 6 years ago :). This guy is out gay on the front end, Which should be how its done. But I think it's a pleasant sign of the times that artists can now come out gay more eassily.Jay Brannon is another who came out Gay then started a music career. But yeah, the media tag lines for this Mr. Grand are a bit off.
I wish Mr. Grand the very best, the more gay stars/role models we have the better ;)

I suspected he was a model/singer/actor. Not criticizing him at all but looking at his portfolio I'm struck there are types of glamour photography that just suck any bit of personality out of the subject.

This guy was on CNN this morning. I hope he can make it as a country singer, although you don't see many male country singers making half naked videos.
I wonder if he would be getting this attention if he was an overweight gay guy. I think the video is what is causing all the attention.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe it's the internet/porn portal to the galaxy, but sexy guys are easy to find. The handsome ones are a more difficult beast to locate. It remains to be seen if he has the talent, charisma, personality and wit to match, even overcome the abs.

I agree, but only insofar as Sexy does not go far enough describing him. His face is amazing...different, the features are very unique, and very handsome. But yes, a body like that is a dime a dozen in the "Star" world.

It was just that. It was so fucking hot, we spent most of the time in the VIP lounge and missed his performance but did see Crystal Waters and Raja. As we were leaving, we walked by Andy Bell getting into a golf cart to ride over to the main stage (in heels, hose and a corset/bustier--thingy.)
