Where to turn
« on: September 26, 2012, 10:17:31 pm »
My life for the past year and half has been a living hell with nearly 7 months out of work with a very minimal disability.  The whole thing has been financially draining and I dont know what else to do or where to turn.   Any suggestions as the social agencies dont look at circumstance but dollar figures and I make too much but I dont make enough to get ahead.   I dont know where o turn now, as I am facing eviction as I cant get caught up.   Now too top it all off my Complera has become resistant and I have to start a new regimen.  This was caught sooner by a freak chance as another doctor wanted some specific results and I was not feeling well.   I am trying to keep working but I cant get ahead to break that strain,  any ideas on where to turn to get some assistance.

I am sorry you seem tobe suffering so much. Have you foind a local AIDS Service Organization? They are all strapped for cash but surely they can offer local suggestions.

In addition, if you are living in the US, depending on the state it takes several months to evict someone, including a court date. Some HIV-friendly attorneys will help out in cases like this for free or at a low cost.

I know it sucks to feel like you are struggling just to tread water. Have you tried this site's services locator? It is at directory.poz.com.

I certainly hope things work out for you.
