You don't need to answer this if you dont' want to and you don't need to like the question either. Just out because I am a curious cat.
You can also state what your lowest counts were.
Mine numbers are
CD4 count = 200
VL = 26.3K
% = 16

mine are below, new draw next Tuesday

My last CD4 was a blip at 220 at 27% and undetectable (<400) v.l.
My CD4 should be in the mid to high 300s by now but we won't know until mid March. This year I will be especially aware of the Ides...

This is as best as I can remember.
In June, I was at CD4s of 520-something and 38% and a viral load of 7,000-ish.
In September, I was at CD4s of 470-ish and 31% with a viral load of 9,000-ish.
Started Atripla in early December.
By January, I was at 420 CD4s at 28%, with a viral load of unfuckingdetectable.
Go, Atripla, go!

My counts are below and as you can see, I am slowly climbing up. The percentage is taking a while, but as long there is an upward trend, I am hopeful.
My lowest cd4 was in the 70's and my percentage was the lowest at 6.

It's always amazing when I read such things. Never could have happened in the early 90's when I was diagnosed. Just think where we all will be in the next 10 years.

It would be neat if this site had some kind of poll or something where you anonymously enter your #'s and whether or not you are on meds, and then it can give an average of all the users...Would be interesting to see.
And no, i'm not getting all big brother-ish...just in to stats and averages.

Mine are in my sig. line below. Next labs are on March 9... hopefully, I'll be undetectable, like my hubby just found out he is. We started Atripla around the same time, but his VL was much lower than mine.

It's great to be able to scroll and see the difference new meds are making.
WoW! Some of these bodies are getting a hard slam with the med. It's a wonder you walk around and function.
Oh! the lowest was 253 CD4 count which was a hiccup about 2 years ago. Maybe I was forgetting to take my am or pm meds dose or was stessed out about something. Don't really recall.

Sorry Queen to hear that... but hey, haven't you escaped meds for a long time? I recall you saying like a decade or something.

Yes sir, this year is my 10th year, the begining, so let's just say 9 and some change. I know when I see my Doc on the 6th, he is going to say it's time and I couldn't agree with him more. There's no S on my chest and I feel that I was blessed to be able to fight it that long w/o meds. It's just time.
-
Yes, you were very blessed my dear and it's good to hear you are ready and not stressing about beginning a new chapter in your HIV journey. My best of luck to you! :)
-
I had to look these up again, since Tim was so detailed.
Diagnosed July 1985

First viral load test 7/25/95 - 13,000

6/19/06 CD4 - 1,170, viral load <50

Next labs in March. Cross your fingers. I don't like the looks of the pattern during the past 12 months.
HUGS,
Mark
