Poz 1 week ago. I need some advices
« on: August 02, 2012, 12:02:49 pm »
hello,
1 week ago(25 jul) I received the results of the test. Positive on elisa and miniblot(I think is WB). I have tested with my girlfriend and shes negative one this one(THANKS GOD).. I have tested my CD4 5 days ago. but here theres 40 days to give me the results(I think is too long). Im not sure but I think i was infected 2,5 years ago. I wanna take all decisons before the results.  Im really scared, Im reading everything about that 24h day. After know something about the disease Im hopefully but still scared. If someone can help with my question I would appreciate that.
1- In my place the gov start the HAART just when your CD4 is bellow 350. Is that bad? Should I pay for start before that?
2- I am from euro zone. I think I can live anywhere here. I like to live abroad. So I think will live in the best place for my treatment. Someone knows whats the best place in euro to treat hiv?
3-. So if someone can give me advice about the medicines. Because I want to talk with my doctor with some knowldge about that. things like the best results, less side effects and other important stuff.
4-I had a relation with my girl where the condom broke 45 days before get tested. the doctor said the window is 2 months but to be relax coz the odds are close to zero.Shes negative now. If someone can me explain about the window. I am really worried about her coz one thing is to take that by a mistake other is to give it to someone that I really love.
5- all the thing I have read tell me that taking medicine u are not die by hiv. But I know theres a lot of dyes by AIDS every year. Why it happens ? Is because there are people who doesnt take the medicince? coz they have taken for a long time the medicine then they dont work anymore or what?¨
I think I have a lot of more questions. but I cannot remember now. So if u can help me with that I will appreciate.
long and healthy life for us

same in south africa. medical insurance provides free meds when your CD count gets  to 350. i spoke to my specialist physician and he says it is OK.
