Thanks to Water Duck, I use Yahoo IM.  Yes, I say Water Duck, for he is the one who convinced me to use it.  Usually, I refuse to spend more than one hour daily sitting by the computer, and I figured that if you use all these messengers your time next to it just doubles.
Anyway, I am glad I use some kind of IM so that I don't feel utterly disconnected to the world! ;)

Eldon, I mistakenly read your threads as being duplicates. Sorry about that. Both are now available to readers again.

Mea culpa.

Since I can't type worth crap I hate all IMs so don't use one any of them.  If I were going to use one it would have to support multiple chat clients since I'm not about to drag my computer down by installing several.

Get skype and a microphone!

I don't do much chatting either - but if you use multipule chat programs then go with one that can access all of them.

And Skype is pretty cool, I signed up for their $15 deal that let's me talk to any phone (cell or wired) for all of next year, and may even splurge and buy a Skype phone since some of them only cost $20 or so and eliminate the headset I use now.

I like Trillian.  It does AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, MSN and IRC and comes in free and Pro versions.  Pro costs $25 and adds video chat.

Just Yahoo and AIM. MSN makes my head hurt. Skype is okay but only for talking. I don't even LOOK at Myspace. Grah.

Hey ALL...

So, from what is gathered here is that multi-platform of some sort would be the better program to use which accesses all of the other IM'S ?

Feedback?
