Ew. Eye infection.
« on: December 01, 2006, 12:55:00 pm »
<__<;.

Grrrrrr.

I've been gone for a couple weeks and now I'm eating this forum up. Meh.

I have an eyeeee infectionnnnnn.

I just got back from the eye doctor and I have stuff for my eye. And I can only see out of one eye cause I had to take my contact out of the infected eye. I'm blind and miserable. They forced me out of school today 'cause I'm contagious.

Grrawwwwrrrr.

And to make things worse they're making me wear glasses now. I'm getting them on Tuesday and they're stupid ugly glasses and I'm going to look like a nerd and then I will die.

</angst>

Not so fast, young one!  What might seem stupid & ugly to you may not be off-putting to others.

This fella has frequently made passes at guys who wear glasses.  Just sayin'.

I have hated having to wear glasses since I had to from the age of 9 or 10. But I also hate having to mess about with contact lenses all the time too. So just last week I made the decision to buy some new ones that were really 'out there', instead of thin piddley ones that I didnt want anyone to see. So I got some thick black frames - bit Nana Mouskouri (Greek singer) like - I thought if I was going to wear glasses I may as really WEAR them! And I love them! They have changed my look and added character to my face. I've done all but shower and sleep in them since I got them! Today I took in my sunglasses to get them fitted with prescription lenses as I've decided to do away with contact lenses pretty much altogether.

Wear your glasses with pride Jaser. You're a good looking boy!

Wishing your eye better quickly, squinty! :P

Hey Mouse,

Sorry about the eye infection, that sucks. I know how you feel about glasses, when I was your age, I was wearing glasses and braces..And boy did I look like a nerd but these days there are many selections and styles of glasses, go for something that is more your style or look, ya know.

I have an eye appointment on Monday, I have been wearing my last pair of contacts for over 6 months, I have disposables but I'm not sure if my insurance will cover contacts anymore so I may have to switch back to glasses. I was bummed about it at first too but I have a certain style I want so, I know I will end up paying out of pocket. Let your glasses make a statement about you! Good Luck,sweetie..... :-*

I found my old glasses. xD. They are large. I look like Harry Potter.

Now I can't wait for my new ones just to get rid of the old ones -
(really old prescription, too. I can see shit but only vague shit.)

based on my nephew (16), I thought braces and glasses were kinda cool these days?!  What do I know.

Listen, both my ex's wore glasses, one all the time. Take your time to pick them out-they'll look great! Good looking men(like yourself) in glasses are HOT! Thunter's right-

And take damn good care of that eye infection!
