Atripla and NSAID interactions?

I've been on Atripla for about 9 1/2 months, and currently undetectable. 

Today I was prescribed Diclofenac (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) which is used to "relieve pain, swelling (inflammation), and joint stiffness caused by arthritis."  My primary care manager was absent today, and the rheumatology specialist I've seen over the last year had never prescribed me anything for my condition, instead opting to wait until my immune system was stronger and to see if my condition improved, which it did until last week.  According to http://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/efavirenz-emtricitabine-tenofovir,atripla.html, Diclofenac is listed as having a "major interaction" with Atripla.  This doctor and pharmacist should've had access to my current medications and I would presume that he would not prescribe me anything unless it was relatively safe.  Should I be concerned?  I also notice that website lists 689 drug interactions with Atripla, which seems a bit high.

I take Atripla at 9 PM.  If I was to consume alcohol, what would be a safe timeframe to do it in either before or after I take Atripla?  Thanks.

According to the University of Liverpool interactions website (www.hiv-druginteractions.org) there are no known interactions between diclofenac and and of the three drugs in Atripla.

drugs.com points out that efavirenz, one of the drugs in Atripla, affects the liver and so do many other drugs, that's all. Hence the long list. It does not indicate a studied or clinically reported interaction with NSAIDs.

NSAIDs long-term with tenofovir, another of the drugs in Atripla, may be hard on your kidneys, something to watch perhaps.

The alcohol thing is very individual with Atripla (specifically the efavirenz it contains since this makes alcohol concentrations in your body higher and last longer). It's safe to drink with this combination, but whether you like the effect is another matter.

How can one check any other drug interaction with HIV drug on http://www.hiv-druginteractions.org. I tried but I failed to do so.

I have so many doubts on this. My neurologist proscribed some tablets. I am waiting to see my HIV Doctor if there is any interaction with my neurologist prescribed tablets. Please can any one explain me with step by step if possible

- Click the big "Drug Interactions Charts" panel/button on the homepage
- Select your HIV meds and click "next"
- Choose if you want to select drugs by A-Z list or drug class and click "next"
- Select the drugs you want to check for an interaction and click "next"
