Went home and almost hit a curb turning on my road, called in and tried about every pain med in the house. damn thing was with me all day.
woke up this morning with no headache but within 5 minutes i had one. and its getting worse little by little. hope i don't have a repeat of yesterday.

Well, in my (admittedly limited) experience of migraines, sitting in front of a PC monitor isn’t going to help matters any.

Just a thought: You haven’t by any chance just given up coffee have you?

Lucas, you need to cut down on your stress. If the migrains continue, see a neurologist and get the proper meds for them. Been there and had them for years.

My cousin gets them all the time, was put on (Prednisone?) for awhile.  He is an electrician and has spent the past few years wiring new buildings at U.C. Santa Cruz and on a nuclear plant in Moss Landing until his radiation badge went off.  He gets violently sick and keeps on working.  I don't know how he does it but whan and what he eats seems to be the best way he has been able to control them.  Have the best day

You know this is so amazing.  I had an extremely draining day at work.  Came home intending to lay down for a few minutes---woke up four hours later at 10:00pm with a throbbing headache. I fixed a late supper, ate, took one Advil, went to bed and woke up this morning-headache gone.  I have not had a headache like that in 15 years.  I used to have them frequently and then they just stopped 15 years ago. At the time the doctors advised me to work to better manage my stress after finding nothing physically wrong.  I think an unusual amount of stress this time around and my slipping from my regimen definitely had something to do with the recent headache.  You may want to check with your doctor for proper direction on medication and/or stress management.

Ugh.  My last visit to the doctor got me a diagnosis of cluster headaches and I was doing pretty good until the night before last and woke up with one in the middle of the night.  I was just winding down from the last cluster enough that my doctor was able to see the physical signs (droopy eye and nasal drainage) and finally took it seriously enough to give me something that might work better than ibuprofen.  Started taking verapamil and gave myself a shot of Imitrex and it went away fairly quickly.

I can only hope that this cluster is short lived.

Headaches suck and migraines and cluster headaches are evil.
