GOD! Looks like today is 'take a trip down memory lane' for me on these threads.

First the KY Derby thread and now this one. I had even forgotten about this song.

Although at least both the KY Derby and this song bring back good memories.  ;D

Far be it for me to look for a link but... THE most disgusting song in the history of vocal stylings must be the 1910 Fruitgum Company with their 60's hit "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I've got Love in my Tummy"   ;D  Have the best day

Scuddles Dahlin,

That would be the song, but in my own mind, I would picture the video a little more glamorous than a picture of hearts candies.  Did Jeff Stryker ever do music video?  ;D  Have the best day

Since Scud introduced us to the Finnish guy, I thought you all might get a kick out of this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT18LZItBLA&eurl=http://apps.facebook.com/superwall/view.php?id=803758743&owner_id=671892992

And here's a little music Trivia - Jeff Stryker did try his hand at singing back in the late 80s. His self-produced music CD flopped and today there is hardly ever any mention of that first attempt (can't blame him for not wanting anyone to know about it). In 2003 he produced another music CD which is sold via his website. The name is his band is: Jeff Stryker and His Soggy-Bottomed Boyz and here is the link to the teaser song > "Pop You in the Pooper"

I simply refuse to click on any of those links for fear of being caught in the trap.

I have been known to bore people senseless, or infuriate them, with my constant singing of my football teams clubs songs:

That song couldn't get stuck in my head because if I ever heard it my pre-cognition filters ignored it completely.   They have been quite useful in maintaining ignorance of Britney Spears or Bill O'Reilly and innumerable others much of my life.

The video looks like a promo for a new Christopher Guest/Eugene Levy & crew vehicle.  The resolution is so bad it's impossible to be sure but I think Parker Posey may be the girl on the left.

I give it a 4.  And that's extraordinarily generous.

Drac

Here's a live version of my favorite love song but the studio recording is famous/infamous and has more oomph: "Why d'ya do it" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH6bAMKA5fU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH6bAMKA5fU)

I didn't listen to the whole thing either.

Its sprinkling outside so today I'm in the mood for a little Neil Sedaka.

Ah .....Anita Mann.....brings back so many fond memories of Patrick McGinley, OUR own  Aneeda Mann.  And indeed ....she registered her name in every phone book she could.   I'm not sure if she ever got a date that way but she was quick to point out that she WAS in the phone book, darling. And dont you forget it.

Sadly Patrick passed away from complications due to AIDS.  He left us a couple of pigs......out of his blown glass pig collection. ;D
