Actually I always find it useful not to be overly matchy-matchy. That's more appropriate for children wearing Garanimals.

First of all, I'm not big on colored belts so no I wouldn't select this particularly, not to mention we're not privy to what Rep. Shrock is wearing for shoes. It all depends on how daring a look you're going for, but not everyone can pull off "daring" in public. It's not entirely uncommon to see flashy color combos in the summer like this at a steeplechase event or in the Hamptons at the polo field. I would have stuck to a light brown/tan belt in leather.

Oh, and I absolutely loathe the trend where guys wear white belts.

Speaking of belts, and I assume the one he's sporting is grosgrain, when I was growing up and a major preppie right before my punk period, I owned in navy blue with ducks and a matching grosgrain watch band. Probably from the Orvis catalogue but can't recall. But the county I grew up in is very horsey so everyone wore stuff like that, though I tended to go a bit overboard even at a young age. I even wore wool plaid pants to school, and kelly green wide wale corduroy. But then I was trying to land girls down the rode at the Foxcroft Academy where Cornelia Guest, debutante of the decade and daughter of C.Z. Guest, was in residence.

Thank goodness I put a halt to all of that at the end of 10th grade and started to pick up boys at Commander Salamander in Georgetown.

The odd thing was Cristiano Ronaldo not knowing the difference between men and women given his experienced prowess and high libido. He procured 3 trannies for some fun 2 years back and well, it turned scandalous when it got exposed. Not to mention he rejected Paris Hilton when she threw herself at him at a club. You can see those pretty latin guys pick up trans every summer in Ibiza clubs. Of course they know or suspect what they're getting. They speed off in sports cars into the dark, and later on both camps are happy as clams. It gets tongues a-wagging about their sexual bravura and proves they are so macho a little fun with ambiguous genders only adds spice.

Its pretty classic after all - basically so homoerotic but also so macho the only way to explore is with ambiguous genders!
