HIV Day sounds like so much fun!!!
« on: February 19, 2007, 11:02:09 am »
Seriously, who dreams up these wonderful press releases?  I just dont get any sense of excitement!  It just seems to me to be rather blah.  But hey, I go big or I go home.  So maybe its just me!

Event planned for HIV/ADIS awareness day
The Kansas City Star
Performer River Huston, an HIV-positive woman, will be the keynote speaker at a National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day event planned for March 9.

The free event will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Blue Parkway.

Other activities include HIV testing and educational exhibits.

For information, call (816) 235-6612.
LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
RIDE!!!
