Big Bertha is out, and I can take a piss all by myself!

You don't appreciate it until you're forced to.

That and walking like a normal person.

Huzzah!

This happy moment was brought to you by massive quantities of Cipro.

I have been.

Over the past few months, cocaine and booze have lost a lot of their allure for me... and I've been doing them less and less.  I don't really touch drugs anymore... not because I think it's wrong... just because I'm bored with them.  Hell, I had a six pack of beer last me more than a week in the fridge... four months ago, it would have lasted me one, possibly two hours.

As it is, spending my time sober and sleeping properly are exciting because they're such novel sensations for me.

And Doxie... that's pretty much what happened.   :D  It was great.

Matty had a trademarked All-Purpose Happy Dance that he used for just these kinda situations: Bris, Birthdays and Bertha's Bye-Byes.

I'd show it to you but might start a thunderstorm.

Well, it's been five years since I've gone so long without getting wasted.

Huh.

It's nice not having bags under my eyes, too!

Just don't get cultish with your sobriety, missy.

Yes, there are vanity benefits to sobriety.  When you get older (don't you just love that phrase), you'll need to lay off of it all for weight's sake.  That in itself is what's kept me from the weeknight glass of wine, beer, etc.

Be careful who you make this statement too.  You might bring out the yellow hankie crowd.  Which isn't bad if that is one's thing...... ;)

Don't worry.  Taking on someone else's dogma has never really been a huge thing of mine.
