I much prefer to fuck the ones that are kind to me 8)
and just ignore the other assholes  ;)

I really don't have any special resolutions for the New Year of 2012, although I do have resolutions that I try to work on all through the year, every year.

Main Resolution #1: After my Randy died and I didn't die, I have always tried to enjoy life as much as possible because I learned that hard way that it can be way too short.
Main Resolution #2: After leaving OH behind and moving to SC just a little over two years ago, I learned to take every opportunity to meet new people (which also works towards my first resolution by pushing me into situations I might never have tried and enjoyed).

so I've been actively working on #3, 4, 6, 7, 8 from your list for many many years and doing pretty good at it if I do say so myself.

good luck everyone on trying to change the things in your life that you're not happy with. There's no sense being miserable with the bad stuff and it is up to you to make that bad stuff change. ;)

I gave up on resolutions; I'm now goal oriented.
1:  buy a home
2:  loose the few pounds I gained over the holiday
3:  Continue to improve my positive mental attitude
4:  Learn forgiveness
5:  Try to master #4
6:  Return to school
7:  Drink more often
8:  Attend AMG and misbehave like it's our last summer on earth.  (could be you know according to other threads)

Haven't done resolutions in a long time. My way of handling it is everything is a two year project from today. Tomorrow it will be a two year project from tomorrow and so on. The point behind this is I know I'll slip up at some point or not be in the mood to follow through right then. It's no big deal because I've still got two more years.

One of my two year projects is to get my triceps to actually get bigger as opposed to just getting stronger. Who cares if you can head-bang 110lbs if your arms look like string beans...strong string beans...but still string beans (no they're not that bad but they refuse to add mass).

As to money...I've decided to kind of ignore that one. Make payments as needed but there's always something that happens that wipes out any progress I make on my credit card. This year I had two teeth break...$2,800 later I've got more money in my mouth than in my checking account.

I guess I've made my decisions/resolutions years ago about what I want to improve. I go to the gym four days a week. I've just about eliminated sugar from my diet. I've eating healthier than I ever have. I'm even getting social again...but that wasn't a resolution...just a drug side effect.

If you do list some resolutions wish you the best in sticking with them. Never hurts to set a goal. Happy New Year!
Of course it's important. It's an email...

Well I always wanted to look like lou ferrigno, but I know that EVER gonna happen, good luck on your triceps and keep working @ it  ;)

This may be a little off topic but my best friend is making $4000 a month typ...oops...wrong site.

Actually this is for denb45 or anyone else who's been on here a long time. I want to post my own picture as my avatar. Are there any rules on using your own picture...other than having to do the URL thing?

Hmmm, resolutions, eh?

OK, here goes:

1) Stop worrying about my weight. (As long as I can lose about 15 pounds)

2) Attend AMG cause it is a grand time and I look forward to it every year.

3) Finish painting my house.

4) Finish remodeling the spare bedroom into a study/den/computer room.

5) Have sex. (preferably with another person present this time.)

HUGS,

Mark

I don't necessarily have "resolutions," more like things worked toward.  I would like to quit eating like every day is a holiday.  I would like to get an emergency fund saved up and credit cards paid off.  I also would someday like to attend an AMG, as there are some posters I would love to meet in person.

Other than that, everyday directions, as being kind, putting myself in another person's place etc.   Oh, I would also love to hook up with someone who has an endless supply of cash and wants to spend it wildly on someone (that someone being me).

I'd rather have Health and the love of a honest partner over money, you just cannot put a price-tag and that  ;)

5) Have sex. (preferably with another person present this time.) find a boyfriend someone you enjoy to be with, the sex will always come later, if you click that way , life to too short to be alone ;)

amen brother!

having been so incredibly lucky to have been there and done that (twice!! and now maybe even a third time!), I'll even take the love from a good partner over health any day.

I'm pretty sure everything else would fall into place if I just motivate myself.

Find myself a part-time job. If I can't find a paid one by the end of Feb then some volunteering will at least get me out of the house and back into a situation where I can get a work reference.
Apart from that no resolutions, have a few other things I want to aim toward.
An afterthought I will butter more butts <evil grin>.

I would LOVE to attend the AMG, but I could have to go manic again and that's just not fair on friends.

I am cautious almost superstitious now when it comes to hopes and dreams.

I'm going to try to stop dwelling so much on people and things I have lost, and try to start thinking of new possibilities -- even if I don't know what those possibilities might be yet.  Oh, and like Mark, I resolve to attend AMG, and also to have sex again -- though not necessarily at the same time.  ;D

Happy New Year!

I have a friend who is 81. She can no longer bend over to give herself a pedicure.

My resolution this year is:  Keep myself limber enough to wipe my ass and give my self a pedicure.
