Title: Worried
Post by: Mnorth255 on April 27, 2017, 03:24:37 pm
I (male) hooked up with a guy. We masturbated each other and he fingerd me. Is there risk for hiv. I'm thinking its possible if he had precum on his fingers could it have gotten in though my penis tip as he intensely rubbed it or could I have been infected through getting fingerd if he had pre cum on his hands

No, you are not at risk for HIV infection as a result of the incident you described.

Mutual masturbation is not a risk.

Fingering is not a risk.  If there were any HIV on his finger in would be made inactive by its exposure to oxygen.

I'm negative and on prep..a few weeks ago I had unprotected sex (msm) I was the bottom. He didn't ejaculate in me...later that day I bottomed with another guy unprotected..could the second top have caught hiv if the first guy was positive. Like could I have transferred hiv from one top to the other if there was any precum or cum in me...the second top said he been on prep for about a month. I'm just worried I could be a conduit for job since it was 2 in one day..but I did clean myself in between.

Look you engaged in unprotected intercourse its accepting a risk, lessened by you taking PrEP against HIV but still accepting this risk and also a risk for other easier to transmit STI's.

With a day between them? I would say no and rather irrelevant to you. To be honest i'm not even sure why you are asking ...

The guys are topping you unprotected and therefore they already accepting the risk of HIV and greater STI transmission risk to them, ultimately its up to them and they are responsible for themselves.   Let me put it this way if the two guys were posting here about this scenario I would be telling them that unprotected intercourse is a risk and they should test for HIV and easier to transmit STI's if they are concerned following this incident.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing (https://poz.com/basics/hiv-basics/hiv-testing)

Kind regards

Jim

Than still the answer is no, it makes no difference and irrelevant as the guys are topping you unprotected and therefore they are already accepting the risk of HIV and the greater STI transmission risk to them, ultimately its up to them and they are responsible for themselves.
