Our one dog is at the vet....
« on: July 22, 2006, 11:22:28 am »
Yesterday when I came home from the hospital, all of the dogs were fine, excited, and happy to have the whole pack together. This morning, Sullivan, our cocker spaniel, would not move to go eat his breakfast or go out potty. He just laid on the bed, panting with his tongue out. My husband took him to the vet, and they think it is arthritis in his back causing pain. Maybe with all of the excitement yesterday, he hurt something. They also checked for any blockages, belly problems...

He is such a cute little guy, a rescue with epilepsy. We were his fifth home, and his forever home. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he improves.

Christine, along with Pluto, Astro and Jinxy Roo who miss their big brother Sullivan

Sweetie and I, send tender little ferret kisses. We hope Sullivan is better soon.
It just puts me over the edge to see my little furry friend not feeling well.
We will keep you in our thoughts. :-*

Thanks everyone! My husband took him to the vet, and they did xrays, and blood work. He has some arthritis, and bone spores on his spine. He is on a pain killer and a steroid for now. He is better today. Not sure what the long term outlook is going to be right now, but we are going to work on getting him better.

Sullivan says thanks for all the puppy kisses!
