Well what do you know it WAS a blip!

Well its good news for me this morning,

My doctor has confirmed my last VL jump from undetectable to 100 was a blip not the start of something more sinister.

My Vl is back down to undetectable.

I questioned my doctor about reservoirs in the body and asked if this could have been the reason for the slight jump.

He looked astonished that I'd even read up on the facts.

He asked me where i get my info and i told him www.aidsmeds.com !!!!

He's gonna visit the site this week,

Excellent news and a good reminder to not just by a single set of results when a blip happens.

Even though being discouraged by a blip is certainly understandable.

Great to hear that Mindnight !!

I have had several times now , where the viral load has gone from undetectable, to a small reading. And glad to report it has always dropped back to undetectable again. Aas others mentioned, it would take several consecutive test to determine if a problem could possibly be developing.

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @593 /  CD4 % @ 18 %

Lymphocytes,total-3305 (within range)

cd4/cd8 ratio -0.31

cd8 %-57
