This may be a silly question but I just joined this forum, what is AMG and whats it all about

Hey and welcome!  AMG stands for AIDS Meds Gathering.  It's basically an annual event where we decide on a location (Seattle this year) and all that can come from points far and wide to meet each other face to face for a few days. 

I went in 2007 to meet up in San Francisco, and it was fantastic.

thanks man it sounds super interesting, I'm always looking to meet other people with my dilemna and be more involved, this may be a great way, so do we just get on here and post on the different topics

Um...yeah, but I advise you to read the welcome thread for each section before posting.

Certain forums, like the Women's forum, are intended just for them and not open for everyone.

It might help to start a new thread for yourself in Living With HIV so that we can all post there and get to know you.  I have "bumped" a neat little thread about AMG to the top of the LW section (and you can see it on the main page right now, too), so you can read some more.

I think you should start your intro thread in LW so that maybe the mods can clear this one out of the Forums section later, ok?
