Am I At Even a Slight Risk?

Hey guys .. I really appreciate your work of humanity ...
This was 5 weeks ago !!
I m 18 yrs old guy from india . I had hooked up with a prostitute who had 2 kids .
It started with fingering and then i started doing cunnilingus .. Then we had protected vaginal sex .
One week later i started having sore throat . Fever weakness etc . I had swollen preauricluar lymph node . Doctor gave me ammoxylin and i was relieved . B
But 3 days back (5 weeks after exposure ) my lymph node has not got proper . And i have got another lymph node just in my neck . I have red spots not coming out of surface in my back shoulders. Please answer my questions in points
1. Do i need to test
2.i hav heard that only one exposure is not considered risky ..
3. I hv heard that along with lymph nodes you should also have fever  too if its HIV
4.how much reliable is test after 6 weeks ?

There is nothing HIV specific about any of your symptoms but then you need to know for future reference that neither the presence nor the absence of symptoms will ever tell you anything accurately about your HIV status. Only an HIV test at 3 months can answer that question reliably.

But you haven't had a risk for HIV. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected.

If your lymph nodes continue to be sensitive you should discuss that with your doctor. Keep your hands off of them. They are very sensitive and you can create a problem if you continue to squeeze them, a problem by the way which has nothing to do with HIV.

There is no need for you to get tested this time. And as long as you consistently use condoms for intercourse you will be well protected against HIV. i

I have read somewhere that a heterosexual man has low risk factor by just one unprotected sexual incident and insertives have very low risk .. Is that true that you have a very less risk lf getting infected from just one exposure ( caus this was my first ever sex exposure i was virgin before ) ? ...

Its does not matter what your sexual preference is ... its the type of sex you have that defines the risk . Statistics aside ... it only takes one incident of unprotected sex to become infected with HIV . 

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I had an encounter with a CSW ( Consider HIV+)
We didn't have any kind of penetration.
But she gave me a handjob. ( I didn't notice if she had blood or cuts on her hands. Consider she had and she touched my sensitive part of Penis)
I fingered her. Well, I didn't go "inside" her. But rubbed her clit. I have small cuts( more like skin peel near my fingers which bleed sometimes)

As you are sexually active, we would encourage periodic STI screening as most STI's are far harder to catch than HIV.

What you posted however is zero risk.

So, Last night I think I had a possible exposure. Here are the details:

So I hooked up with an older lady from tinder and we decided to have sex. I am a uncircumsized man. We participated in unprotected oral sex but I do know what is basically zero risk for HIV. My worry is, However, vaginal sex. I did use protection but I am worried as When I ejacuated, my penis was inside her and I felt a little warmer and barer. But when I pulled my penis out, the bottom of the condom was still intact of my penis. I even checked out the condom for tears by filling it with water afterwards and It looked fine.

Would you recommend me getting into PEP for this exposure? (We had sex multiple time but every time it was protected)

She looked clean, had good hygiene and she denied having any STIs & STDs but again I am aware HIV Does not care about looks, behavior.

I would really appreciate a reply as soon as you can give me one as I am on a timer for PEP In case you think I need it.

Please don't talk BS to me. You do think or at least have the thought that "clean" looking people don't have HIV or that looking dirty is somehow more risk of living with HIV, otherwise why would not have even mentioned it to start with.

Upcoming this year I will have been living with HIV for over 24 years, and I don't look unclean or neither am I unclean, nor do I have or have I had bad hygiene.

Reading your past posts, I recommend considering a therapist to help you with your fears.

Anyhow, testing the condoms with water, stop doing it. It's not needed, not designed to be used that way and could damage the condom, mistakenly leading you to think the condom was damaged during sex when you caused the damage after the intercourse by trying to "test" it with water. In short, testing the condom yourself is not a reliable way to tell you anything.

If you ask me, testing condoms with water is a step shy of paranoia. I read your post three times; move on with your life!

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms, and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Sorry Jim. I really did not wanted to bring that up. And Yes, I am in therapy right now. If you could just please give me your professional advice onto if PEP is recommended or not in my case. I would really appreciate that. Again sorry for the crap talk.

See, HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. If a condom fails during the act of intercourse, it's obvious. Unless this obvious issue happens, there is no reason to be stressing about HIV from intercourse or the need for testing outside of the yearly routine, let alone PEP.

So move on with your life, continue to use condoms for any intercourse, out of routine test yearly for HIV and far easier to acquire STIs.
