Well The Membership Continues to Climb!
« on: February 19, 2007, 11:49:37 pm »
I still have yet to see a single incident of someone sneaking in to steal our stories and tamper with our sanctuary.   For all the whiners that said they were leaving the membership continues to grow!

Just an observation!

I've already been to your page, loved the letters from your family. I'm trying to figure out where they live now. I think I have found them on google earth. Is that their house with a tree in the back yard?  You can stalk me any time, I know how to get a restraining order.

OMG!  That's my house.   The tree will give it away for sure!  I'd better remove that tree and make sure no one recognizes the place from satellite.

LOL, actually I've seen my house from google earth, cool program.   You are a stalker!

Tired of the newbie vs oldie bullshit.....

Hey Darling,

I love this comment.  I want to borrow it.   It's so true.  I'm over that BS.   I don't know which freak is stalking you but the child sexual abuse as humor I don't find funny and I reported that.  Everyone know's that by now I like a little witty banter, but continuous stalking by a psycho with a
Chucky Doll that thinks rape and abuse of children is funny and proceeds to follow my posts is outrageous.    I reported him/it twice tonite.

Hang in there doll.    There are way too many cool people here and a few bad apples aren't going to rot the bunch no matter what bullshit they pull.

Huggs,

Wesley

Wesley, I have to say I object to your use of the term "whiners" to label those who said they were leaving because of the current experience.

The use of a pejorative term like "whiner" seems to me to fail to respect that people are in all different places in their lives in terms of being out about their HIV status and in some instances about their sexuality as well. For some their fears are connected to  relationships in their lives and for others it's job-related. Neither of those are small matters.

You may not share those particular concerns or maybe you do and you have found yourself willing to get past them. I see this as something we need to be understanding and compassionate about rather a reason to disparage fellow members down about.

My hope is they will continue on here or find their way back to our site, especially when the current uproar begins to die down. In the meantime, being mocked by other members is hardly likely to make them feel understood or safer here.

Opinions have been expressed here and ones not unrelated to other threads about the CSI event. If there is still anything valid to be said related to that I guess it will turn up.

This thread is now locked.
