Title: Important that the patient S.E.E.S.
Post by: OneTampa on July 18, 2010, 10:36:55 am
I spoke with my Doctor on a recent follow up and he said that in addition to taking my meds on time every time, I should continue to do what he advises all of his patients:

S leep. It is important to mental health and helps the immune system.
E eat right. Indulge here and there but eat nutritous meals.
E xercise.  Even daily activities can be a form of exercise in addition to a focused regimen.
S tress reduction. This has also been shown to benefit our mental health and immune system.

If you have problems with any of the above, talk to your Doctor and see if he can help.  It may require a change in medication, time management, activities or some other adjustment.

Tampa, I think you meant to put that Yogi link in your other thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=33604.0)

You are correct Ann.  The Yogi reference was for the post about the medical research noting the link between hibernating bears and a healthy heart.

Can you delete the FYI from my previous post to this thread?

Thanks!
