Even if your 8 hour marathon oral sex man was Dracula, you weren't at risk. In the entire history of the HIV epidemic there has never been even a single confirmed case of HIV infection through a guy getting oral. Not one. Despite your marathon event you aren't going to make history by becoming the first.

However, you do need to be aware that the use of crystal meth has caused many to NOT follow safer sex guidelines in using condoms for intercourse, and thereby resulting in many HIV infections.

scared,

Andy meant to say that meth has caused many to NOT follow safer sex guidelines. People often throw caution out the window when high on meth and fail to use condoms. Meth use is responsible for many new hiv infections. Don't you become one of them. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for anal or vaginal intercourse, you'll be just fine where hiv is concerned. Don't get so high you forget the condoms!

I agree with Andy that you had no risk. Not one person has ever been infected through getting blown, no matter how long the blowjob lasted, and you won't be the first.

scared,

Whatifwhatifwhatif. Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection, no matter what sort of whatiffing you can come up with. Not one person has EVER been infected through getting blown and you are not going to be the first. You are also not the first person to ever get a lengthy, rough blowjob. You got your dick sucked; get over it.

Grinding or rubbing are not risks for HIV transmission, even when you have a sore anus.

There's no need for testing nor for further concern about this incident.

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Rod, Andy, Ann:
Quick and LAST QUESTION BY ME. period.
I think I figured out what the sore anus thing was.. hemorrhoids ..ew

So if I had hemorrhoids and lets say it was considered an open cut ... and the hiv+ guy grinded his penis around the rectum anus for like 20 seconds WITHOUT penetration but just grinding (if there was precum) .whats my risk there?

Not a risk. Period. Grinding and whatever other variations you throw into the mix are not anal intercourse.

You are on the verge of getting a Time Out for 28 days. Consider yourself warned. HIV is not your problem.

That's good. No surprise but a happy result anyway. Get on with your life and remember to use condoms consistently for intercourse.

Cheers.

hi friends,

would like to know my risk for the following:

i was skaeboarding earlier in the day and fell on my arm and got a nasty cut, then at night met up with a guy and had mutual masturbation like with lube -- we did not cum, only edged and precum. no oral or anal but my cut was exposed.
also had jock itch and i scratched under my scrotum so it was raw skin (i don't know if thats considered an open cut?)
i'm just worried mainly about the fresh cut from 5 hours earlier and the precum that might have been exposed to that area.

Neither of those are risks. As has been carefully explained to you more than once, the only confirned risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. All the other stuff is strictly in the domain of "theoretical."

You need to apply what has been said to here to new situations as they arise.

thats what i thought, andy. like i said earlier in this thread - you guys are always right. and patient. but i won't bother you after this post.

my last question is - does hiv virus die when exposed to air? (lets say precum comes out of partner's penis and is rubbed with hand onto the cut- combined with a lot of lube) by the time it reaches the cut would the virus be dead?

would appreciate input from rapidrod and the dearest heavensent ANN.

Scared,

Viruses are not alive or dead. They're strange entities.

When hiv finds itself outside the human body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. Hiv is very fragile. It needs its outer covering to be intact and undamaged in order to latch onto a very few, very specific cell types and infect.

Getting cum into a cut is not a risk for hiv infection.

Ann,
I can't take this shit. I'm feeling suicidal about this. I can't get it out of my head that this is IT .. this is the time I got infected . I sit here and just look through all the threads that andy and yourself say "no risk" to and that calms me down for a few minutes.  this guy was just staring at my thing like real close up while he was masturbating himself . and every few minutes he would use his hand that he masturbated himself with to like hold or grip the bottom part of my thing..WHERE I HAD jock itch (scratched my skin raw)
i'm gonna seek therapy for this. i'm a recovering drug user many months clean! and a friend thinks that the reason i get myself into all this is because i kind of get "high" from testing hiv negative- and the whole month of waiting and agony is like foreplay for the final "release" of testing negative. i don't think thats true at all but im gonna address these issues
i only have 2 questions
1) i really cant wait the full 6 weeks..this shit is killing me ann. can i do a pcr dna hiv test 10 days after exposure? is that accurate enough?
2)if the guy i hooked with wrote this in his email to me ".chill and go with the flow here...fit smooth neg safe bttm and oral.  " is that almost a 100% that he is in fact neg or do guys lie about this shit on clist, etc?

scared,

Sexually speaking the only confirmed risks are unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. If you use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, you will avoid hiv infection. IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE. Never believe what another person says about their status - they may lie or only think they know their status. If they won't use a condom, then say no.

Once an addict, always an addict. You've switched your addictions to fretting about no risk hiv scenarios and hiv testing.

Yes, get yourself into therapy. Nothing you've ever brought to us has been a risk.

To encourage you to get into therapy, I'm giving you that time out you've been repeatedly warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.

There is a reason why I did not ask for your input, rod. You are always a jerk to us.. everyone that asks for help on this Am I Infected? forum will agree with me on that..

I know dogs can't contract HIV and I understand what the "H" means..
I'm asking if the dog had the HIV + person's blood in their mouth or teeth, and bit me 15 minutes later. That was the question.

Scared,

No way. Get real.  You've already been told why blood in a dog's mouth would not be a risk for hiv infection.

Did you ever get that counselling you talked about? Because it would seem you still need it. And you don't get to chose who answers you, so don't get so snippy with Rodney. His response was correct as always.

Ok here is what happened. I was at a clothing store in New York City, in chelsea (where there is a large population of Hiv + people). I was feeling the textile of some button down dress shirts when suddenly I felt a prick on my finger and it started to bleed!
It was one of those sewing needle pins that are used to hold down the sleeves of the button down dress shirts. The shirt had many of these little needles. It was a solid very small needle.
What if some Hiv + person got pricked by this sewing needle moments before me?

What if, what if, what if....?????

Your latest what iffing is frankly, ridiculous and not even remotely a risk for HIV transmission.

You need to get some professional help about your HIV concerns. They have nothing to do with anything based in HIV science.

If you continue  to come here with more of the same you are very quickly going to find yourself getting a Time Out. Consider yourself warned.
