fluids on penis
« on: May 22, 2013, 06:37:59 am »
here is the case:
before 22 days, on 1st of May, i had contact with a risky girl but with no penetration. I fingered her vagina for some time and then put my thumb finger in her ass for just 1 second. Immediatelly after this, i musturbated on high volume with the same hand that has vaginal fluid on it. In this i may have touched the urethra some times.

After 1 week i started to have headache, not strong but have. After 2 weeks i had pain in the throat and flu. Today, after exactly 3 weeks i have no more pain in the throat (it was for 2 or 3 days only) and the flu is almost gone but today i have swollen lymph nodes in the begining of the down side of the neck.

what also worry me is that at day 7 after the risky exposure i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and 2 weeks after that she started to develop flu too, plus headache and 37 degrees temperature all day

im very scared of all of these, what is good is that just after my risky exposure i went to see my mother outside of the town and she and my sister were having flu at this time and i hope mine and my girlfriends sympthoms are because i got flu from my mother. But i cant understand the swollen lymph nodes.. my mother didnt have these...

Hi 123 , the only risk sexually for HIV is unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse , as long as you use condoms for these activity's you will avoid HIV .

I read you concerns carefully and I can say that you didn't have a risk for HIV in the situation you described . We do not discuss symptoms because they are not specific to HIV and could be caused by anything .

As far as sex with your girlfriend ... its up to you to judge if that is a risk for HIV but the fact remains that until you are in a monogamous relationship that's secure you will need sexual health checkups .

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have read that HIV cant be transmitted through vaginal fluids from hand to urethra, this is what most of the websites say, but there is some that say its a risky behaviour.

Do you have any reported cases of transmittion that way?

I would hear anyone's opinion. :)

Its not a risk , I would have told you if it was . The only time you are at risk sexually for HIV is when you fail to correctly and consistently use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse .
