Woo-hoo! 8 years of being undetectable!
« on: May 20, 2008, 07:55:43 pm »
Starting from a viral load of 250,000 and 22 t-cells in January 2000 and now it's 8 years since I first stared meds and have been undetectable since my first follow-up blood work after starting meds.

T-cell count up to 523.

(And I still sweat every waiting period between blood draws and results)

Atripla.

My first few years it was Sustiva and Combivir.

Then I switched Combivir out for Truvada because it was once a day and I was tired of living in 12 hour increments.

Then I went to Atripla.

I did do courses of IL-2 for about a year because my t-cells wouldn't rise (nasty stuff that IL-2....like having a really bad flu) above 200 for the first couple of years.
