Remember the Love: AIDS Quilt Panel Making Workshop
Eureka Valley Rec Center
Saturday, February 10th from 1 until 4 p.m.
(18th and Collingwood in the Castro)

Come be a part of a touching way to remember a loved one for this Valentines Day.

Come be a part of this return to the tradition of remembering our loved ones lost to AIDS in a special way.

We'll bring sewing machines, limited amounts of supplies, fabric and experience.

You can bring fond memories, materials that would honor your loved one and imagination.

And yes, it's true that Gert McMullin, the longtime caretaker of the Quilt is flying out specially for this. We're hoping for a huge turnout as this will be the start of a new chapter in the Quilt in SF. The goal is to create 8 or 16 panels so they can get sewn into a section or two, entered into the database and returned to SF in mimimal time, like in time for SF Pride..

And anyone holding onto panels are invited to bring them in and we'll be able to see them as a part of the Quilt, and your loved one can be honored accordingly.

For more information: sfaidspanelworkshop@yahoogroups.com

I hope to see some of you there!

Remember the NAMES :)
