Surprisingly enough...
« on: January 08, 2007, 12:49:01 pm »
just arrived from my doctor and I was in some ways stunned at my results. I was expecting the worst. Keeping in mind that having been on meds for a long time and totaly stop taking them as of last October because of toxicity...

My CD4 are 160 (up a bit from 120) @ only 10% (this is lower from 13%) and the viral load is down @ 29,000 (from over 60,000). Just to show you guys that numbers are only that and doing there own thing.

Now if you ask me how I feel about it, I would say that it would be nice to find new drugs for me to take but it is also showing that, this old geezer's immune system (although damaged) is still kicking somehow after all these years.

From now on I will be tested every months and I will still be taking the fabulous Mepron and continue taking care of me the best I can.

Take care.
