Here is a current shot of me. I might be stupid or something, but I can't seem to get it to work as my icon. It won't load it... I've tried uploading, hosting on my site... and nada... Anyhoo... for your amusement... :o ::)

I cannot wait to get to know you, as it seems you have made some splash here already. Those that know me from these forums, know I am one very tight and avid supporter of our resident women, and I am so very glad to welcome you to this insanity that we so affectionately call a family.
Just so you know that my icon is in fact 23 years old, here is an attachment that shows the more recent me. Also you might look for my mug in the AIDSmeds gathering fourms, now that they are cropping up from Montreal. I would invite you to paruse that forum, and try to place it sometime in your future to join in with the rest of us and frolic together in our HIVness. Our motto is "It's Ok, I understand, I'm positive too".

So nice to put a face with your posts!
I'm so glad there is someone else out there that doesn't dye their hair. I too have salt/pepper hair. I used to say I have brown hair with gray highlights. But I'm afraid its starting to look like gray hair with brown highlights.
I had my pic as my avatar till hubby got upset. He hasn't told anyone of his HIV status yet.

We both seem to think that Eric hung the moon & stars ;D
I am so close to Eric! He has helped me get through some very rough times.
Mainly through PM's.
Not discounting everyone else here by any means.
They are an awesome, kind, funny, caring and sometimes"off the wall" group of people and they are all very special to me!!!!

LOL AH... Well, actually, I don't get mad that often. But when I get pissed... I guess you can say I look like my little icon dude. Just don't stand in my way!!
Do you know what the saying is in my icon? It's a "Friendship Prayer".

The avatar I use is one that I used on the old site, where they could be no bigger than 90x90. I think this site allows for a little larger - looks to me like around 100x100. Silly me, I can just post it here and you can save it to your computer from here and upload it that way. I keep forgetting that there is so much more we can do in this new forum! This one is 100x103. Hope it works for you... it would be lovely to see your smiling face next to all your posts.

OK all -- reading this thread made me decide to get my ugly mug up on here too! I can't compete with all the beautiful ladies, but I figured throwing in a little "background" would help! This was me in June.
