"All in 1 Leisure Hotel"
« on: August 02, 2008, 11:47:14 pm »
Hi Experts,

My friend bring me to visit an "All in 1" leisure hotel. That is consider a high class club. on the ground floor, they have gym, sauna, spa, and healtclub. 2nd floor, they have live music, wine bar, karaoke room. 3rd floor they have go-go dancer show, complete with hundreds of girls ready to accompany us, having sex with us upstair (with hundreds of private rooms), if we are interested to do so.

What happened :
I went upstairs, enjoy the go-go dance, drinks and talk with girls. No sex activities, no kissing, no fingering. no frottage. Just sit, drink, chat, and enjoy the striptease dancer.

What made me worry:
What made me worry is not about sexual transmition, since I did not engage on such kind activities at the mommment. Begore I left the hotel, I went to the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and take a shower.
I dried my body using clean towel. I brush my teeth using sealed tootbrush. And I shave my beard using "look" clean disposable shaver.

I said "look" clean, because the shaver is not sealed. There are tens of shaver in front of mirror, complete with shaver foam and after shave lotion. When I shave my face, suddently I am afraid if the shaver has been used by others. So I went to the person in charge, asking whether it was new disposabble shaver.
He said, Yes. They always prepare newdisposable shavers. However, he can not guarantte that everybody will throw away the used shaver after they used it.

I am afraid the possibilities there are some guest use the shaver, and "unintentionally" put it back in the rows, then I was "accidently' used it.

Let say, it was true that that was a used shaver I had taken, (let say it was used 5 minutes in prior), what is my risk of HIV transmission? I did not see any bleeding on my face, but I was not sure if any micro blood left in the shaver and micro tear on my face during shaving.
Fyi., I use shaver foam to shave my face, is that make any difference of the risk?

Do I need to worry about that incident? My concern is because so many guest in the go-go dance show came downstair to take sauna/spa and shower and use the shaver to clean up their face.

Please advise.

Whenever I've had to reuse one of my own razors, I've noticed the difference from when it was new. I doubt very much if the disposable razor you used was not new.

In any event, it makes no difference. HIV is not transmitted via sharing razors in the manner you describe. You were not at risk of catching HIV and you do not need to test.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our Lessons to learn more about how HIV is and is not transmitted.
