Road accident - Cunnilingus on CSW.
« on: September 07, 2011, 02:10:34 am »
Hello all,

First of all thank you for taking time to read and respond. I have a story and my life is hanging on it.
Last month me and my friend for the first time went to a local brothel. We were super exited as we never did a CSW before. On our way we met with a small accident where I bumped my face in the steering wheel and cut my inner lips and the tip of my young. My friend was safe. I also hurt my fingers, there was no blood on fingers though, just small portion of skin got pealed off, may be few millimeters but it stung when touched. We were mildly drunk and we didn't care too much.
We reached the brothel in a nearby town and we went on with the girls. There were few hours of gap after the accident and we going to brothel during which we cleaned up and boozed. My mouth cuts on lips and tongue hurt a bit but stopped bleeding. After about 6 to 8 hours we engaged in sex with the CSW. It was condom protected vaginal sex but the foolish thing I did was give her cunnilingus.
I know my mouth and fingers were hurt but I was drunk and she was hot. I spent about 5mins on her and have inserted my wounded fingers in her and licked her pretty deep. My mouth didn't hurt at that time may be due to alcohol but my fingers stung a bit when I inserted them. I also deep dived my tongue in her vagina which now had a small cut. Non of my wounds were bleeding though as its been about 6-7 hours.
After about 2weeks on a weekend I had mild fever that didn't put me to bed but I could feel the body temp and the low energy drowsy feeling when we have fever. The fever lasted only for a day but. I had soure throat later on for a week with mild cough.
I am very nervous and devastated now thinking about possible infection. I will wait to complete 3 months for testing but I need to know what are my risks and chances of infection assuming the worst case of she being positive. Please advise. My sex was protected but oral was not and I had wounded, cut lips and tongue and fingers.
please advise as I am very scared. I will never go to brothels again. This was my first and last.
Your advise will help me a lot. Thank you all.

Regards.

Oxy,

You need to relax. Nothing you did was a risk for hiv infection. Yes, I read about your cuts and whatnot. Still no risk.

You need to realise that it's not just sex workers you need to use condoms with. Hiv does not discriminate and neither should you. It's not WHO you do, it's HOW you do it that matters.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER THE BROTHEL INCIDENT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you so much for responding Ann ..!

Its a relief to know I am at low risk .. but risk is still a risk - isint it.  ???

I had open wounds in my mouth as lips were cut due to the impact and my tongue's tip was also cut.
Though there was no bleeding during the fun time as the bleeding stopped with in minutes of the accident but all these open cuts and wounds still pose a risk of transmission - don't they ?
Also I licked her deep inside with my tongue with a cut :( and I fingered her with my fingers that had lost some parts of the top layer of skin and it stung with I put it in her.
At that time I didnt think too much, I was cool as I was using condom and it was in good shape after use. I didn't find any menstrual signs on her either. There was some vaginal wetness but it was not too thick and I spat on her private to keep it smooth and wet - so I assume the wetness was part of my contribution.

Dont you think my cut on the tongue that dived deep inside of her had any chance of getting infected. (assuming the worst case that she was HIV+). ???

I have been reading articles on internet a lot and it makes me even more depressed. I read about lymph-nodes and their swelling is part of ARS.
I looked up on my body and I did find small (green pea size) bubbles that were very soft and painless on both sides of my neck under ears. Scanned my other parts but could not feel any other lumpy stuff. Does the pea size means they are swollen and do they pain or are they painless when swollen.
I didnt have any other symptoms other than that one day mild fever that didn't knock me down and a week long sour throat that is all set to normal now.
Every day before I take a shower - I look my whole body for some rashes but so far I didn't find any. I googled for HIV rashes and there are many different looking rashes - some are patchy some are spotty some are swollen. I have no idea how to calm my mind.

Do you suggest I take a test on my 3 months anniversary ???
Please advise.

Every day I wake up - it makes me feel gloomy and sad about the HIV thing. I have dreams about HIV - ever since this incident, my weekends have been wasted on internet reading about HIV and AIDS. Its so confusing and political.

Ann - Thank you once again and I seriously wish you all the goodness in this world. You are awesome !

Thanks All for reading and caring for me..!

Regards,
Oxy..!

Ann didn't say you had a low risk. She said you had NO risk. And I agree with that.

As for testing at 3 months that is strictly up to you if you want to do it for your peace of mind. You didn't have a risk so the inevitable negative result is just to put your mind at ease.

It sounds as if you are relatively new to sexual activity. If that is so it can be very exciting and also a bit scary and overwhelming. As long as you consistently use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse  you will be well protected against the sexual transmission of HIV.

Hi Andy,

Thank you for re-assuring.

You are correct - I am new to all this - Frankly, this is my 3rd sexual encounter and the actual reason why I visited a CSW was because I wanted to practice some cunnilingus and improve my skills to impress my girl friend. I truely love her and the first 2 attempts with her were all so new and confusing and we both didnt know how to deal with each other when we were making love - I may sound kiddish and foolish but after the first 2 attempts I wanted to give my girl the best and I used the CSW as a case study and look what situation I am in currently.
I wish this idea never came to my mind.
May be I am over expecting from my girl friend after watching all the porn and seeing women screaming and squirting. She keeps complaining me that I am too hard on her - so I wanted to try out on a CSW. I read books and watched videos on how to give the best shot.
I felt the CSW enjoyed what I did to her and I was happy to take home my skills to impress my girl but all I want to give her is love, happiness and satisfaction and not HIV .. :(

Please don't laugh - we both lost our virginity to gather and I want to stay monogamous here on with my girl - just trying to come out of this bullshit situation I am in right now.

Thank you Andy and Ann - you guys truly are my celebrities I hope you understand my situation.

Regards,
Oxy.. !

ONE MORE QUESTION - sorry ??? too much of stress on me :(

I mentioned about my Lymph-nodes on the sides of my neck under the ears.
I may have missed to observe them before or may be they showed up recently after the incident.

What does swollen Lymph-nodes look and feel like. Are they huge enough to popup abnormally under the skin and do they cause pain and inflammation ?

My Lymph-nodes are tiny and are not visible on surface. They are like green pea size and are very soft and painless. I have 2 on my left and may be 3 or 4 on the right. Its strange I never observed them on my neck for so many years. I read about ARS and they say these Lymph-nodes show up in arm pits and groin - I tried to feel some abnormal bulges in these areas but I don't have them per my observation.
Please advise.

I hate these 3 months of my life.. !

Regards,.

Oxy,

Stop looking for trouble where there isn't any. Keep your hands off your lymph nodes. Touching and prodding them all the time will only cause them to swell and become sore.

You did not have a risk for hiv infection.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!!!!

Hello All..

I am sorry for being so freaked out.. I notice my Lymph-nodes are slightly larger that what they were yesterday.
I really want to know what swollen Lymph-nodes mean and how they look like.
Do they cause pain and inflammation?
They are almost the size of peanuts and I can feel 3 on my right neck and 2 on left.
The right neck nodes are slightly larger.
I have also started feeling slight burn and itch in the inner sides of my tongue. I keep looking in mirror and today morning before brushing teeth, I have seen some white layers on the sides of my tongue, when I used my finger to feel it - it went off like a small layer of, it was not mucous like layer, it was like a very thin layer of skin that just came off - like the one we see when we try to open the shell of a boiled egg, but mine was even more thinner.
I dont have fever or any symptoms like fever but I have observer some mild numbness in my head, its not headache but its buzz and when i walk I some times feel for a second as if I am loosing balance and and may fall off. It happened few times today and I never had that earlier.
I am very scared now and I dont know what to do.. :(

I read a post here  "Big Mistake and Possible Seroconversion" and that freaked me out totally.
Is this really not ARS.. ?

Are you listening to anything said to your or only to your totally unfounded fears about HIV? Tell your doctor about your lymph nodes and any other "symptoms" you have. They have nothing to do with HIV. I am also going to tell you that if you continue to return here with more what ifs and fears you may well find yourself getting a Time Out from this site. HIV is not your problem. Period.

Hi Andy,

I am sorry to piss you off.. I am really nervous and every slight change in my body makes me think of the HIV. Its haunting me and making me really upset. I have been spending hours on internet reading about it and its really causing me to panic.

I am sorry once again - please dont shut me off from here. I really need your help and support. I will not post anything stupid. I hope you understand. I totally respect your's and Ann's suggestions and it really is making me cool down but once in a while - I get this jolt of fear and it makes me so crazy and I feel like crying or banging my head on a wall. Totally upset and scared.
Please don't shut me down...! I swear I wont ask stupid questions any more. just 2 more months and I will get tested.
Respect you all..
Thank you and sorry.. !

Oxy.

This is not about pissing me off. It's that we will simply not indulge obsessive behavior when there is credible, HIV-science based reason to believe HIV is an issue. And just because those bursts of fear continue to happen does not change the non-risk facts of the situation as you have reported them.

You need to stop indulging yourself in searching the net. All you do is feed your worst fears and all to no good purpose. If you have symptoms you should be discussing them with your doctor. This is not an HIV situation no matter what your fears are telling you.

And that warning about getting a Time Out still stands.

To add to Andy's reply:

You know what really makes your lymph nodes inflamed and tender? Touching them, probing them, messing with them.

Hello All,

On 21st July I had a potential exposure to HIV through cunnilingus on a wounded tongue. I discussed this with you all and every one assured me that it’s a NO RISK. Thank you all for supporting me.
It has been 8 weeks now and out of stress and anxiety I wanted to get tested.
I read on forums that tests after 6 weeks can be very close to accurate. As I have just completed 8 weeks I could not resist and bear the stress so I went for testing.
I asked for EILSA but they said it would take 1 day for results and I was really not willing to wait for so long. They advised HIV TRI DOT Rapid test and said it is very reliable and fast. As I didn’t know much about tests and was not in a position to wait any longer I accepted.
I got tested and came out NEGETIVE. It’s a relief but I am not sure how accurate this result is for 8 weeks and I don’t know much about this test either.

I googled and found the below links:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16153264
http://www.jmitra.co.in/ourdivision/diagnosticdivision/rapidtestkits/hivrange/hiv_tri_dot_ag.aspx

The second link above is the manufacturer’s website link for Indian distribution.
I want to know how conclusive this result is for 8 weeks window. Do you advise any better test after 3 months completion? Should I go for ELISA after 3 months?

Please let me know..
Thank you.

A test taken right now would be accurate - mainly because you HAD NO RISK.

Are you even reading your replies?

Or are you just listening to the doubts and fears running through your head? That's how it looks to us at this end.

How many ways can we tell you NO RISK?????

I am going to warn you that if you keep returning about this same non-risk, you are going to get yourself a Time Out for 28 days from the site. HIV is not your problem. No kidding.

Hi Andy, Jkinatl2,

First of all thank you. Trust me I seriously trust you all but its been a mental torture and depression was showing effect on me physically. My friends were able to make out that I am not doing fine due to depression. That is why I got tested at 8 weeks for mental relief. I think I needed to test and now I feel the peace after long time. I love you guys. Thank you. Forgive me for the trouble I caused. Its been the toughest weeks of my life.

I mean it. Thank you once again.
