13 months - am i infected?
« on: October 29, 2012, 07:48:18 am »
Greetings from Moscow! Thanks for your help, please do not leave without an answer my question. I am a man, 26 years old. I had homosexual contact with an HIV positive. Had oral sex, as well as kissing. Before that, I certainly did not know that the guy is positive, it turned out later. I had a lot of stress, I slept for 3 hours a night, eating almost nothing. Getting ready to die! At first I decided to test after 1 month, it was Elisa 3 generations, the answer came negative, stress has passed. Then I got sick, sore throat, fever. A week later, recovered! The next test I did on. 4 months, Elisa 4. Generation at + ag, the test is negative. All this time, I had diarrhea and bloating, night I was sweating heavily and once had a fever! I was sure that I was positive. I became trustify each month at + ag 4 generation abbot architect! The 13 months is negative. At 11 months I have made RNA test is also negative. Also at 11 months my cd4 1453 (60%), cd 8526 cd4/cd8 2,7. , At 6 months was 40 cd4%, cd8 34%, cd4/cd8 1,17. Now I have a white tongue and sores on it, Herpes in the nose, lymph nodes under the jaw, diarrhea and blood in the stool, a raid on the throat and tonsils, a rash on the elbows and fingers, I began to tire quickly. I still do not know I'm a plus or a minus? I'm so tired! I need trustify next? Unfortunately in Russia do not do western blot, if the test is negative Elisa. Do not make money.I am willing to pay! My neighbor in the apartment now complains of the same symptoms, what is it? I know HIV is not transmitted through saliva? A few months ago I was tested for epshtaine Barr, igg was 442, 30 times the norm. Maybe this is the infection? I have visited many doctors, they all say that I need to treat brain! They say I'm healthy! My blood, too right! Tell me could it be one year cd4 1453, if HIV-positive? I can not live and work under stress, soon I will be fired from work! My friends and family do not know anything, I do not want to scare them! Russia has a very bad attitude to positive! I could not live with that! This is my story! thank you!

Time,

You have not had a risk for hiv infection.

Kissing is not a risk.

Oral is not a risk.

Even if you DID have a risk (you did NOT have a risk), you are conclusively hiv negative. You do NOT have hiv.

The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six weeks, with the average time to seroconversion being only 22 days.

A six week negative must be confirmed at the three month point, but is highly unlikely to change. A test at (or later than) three months is conclusive.

Nobody anywhere in the world follows a negative antibody test with a Western Blot test. WB tests are only used to confirm positive results.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV. If you feel unwell, see a doctor. Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER TESTING AT THIS TIME, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Anna, thank you very much for your reply! I know that the risk was minimal and someone said that it did not exist. I do not understand why I'm in a healthy young man turned to the old man. where are the symptoms that are very similar to HIV. do you think the stress may give such symptoms?

Time,

Stress can cause all sorts of physical symptoms.

Your symptoms are not hiv-specific and can be caused by hundreds of other conditions.

You have conclusively ruled hiv out as a possible cause.

You do not have hiv.

Keep working with a doctor to find out what is going on. We cannot help you with that here. We cannot diagnose you over the internet.
