Duo & PCR test after unprotected cunnilingus and Protected Vaginal Sex

I had protected vaginal sex with 3 sex workers over last month. Once each with two and 6 times with the third. I also gave unprotected vigorous oral to the third on her Vagina on 14th March 2013. Although i am aware that cunnilingus poses very little risk for HIV infection, I got worried after reading on certain websites (official govt. ones) that oral sex carries significant risk for HIV infection. In order to put worries to an end I visited and STD clinic on 26th March and the doctor told me that while protected sex is low risk activity, cunnilingus carries a high risk. this really got me worried. He performed a Combo P24 Ag + HIV 1 & 2 Ab test which came out negative. He has also sent my sample for a PCR test and the report will come in 5 days. In the meanwhile i'm scared to death. Am I at risk? I've been avoiding unprotected sex with my wife and she is insisting on it. What should I do?

You never had an exposure. HIV is not transmitted by cunnilingus and you had protected vaginal sex.

Thanks for the answer RapidRod. However, when you get a doubt, mind plays games on you which in my case was amplified by what my doctor said. I have relatively bad state of teeth with couple of molars broken with only roots remaining and a few cavities. does this increase the risk? Can i safely have unprotected sex with my Wife? Assuming that there was a risk is the duo test at 12 day a good indicator? I also worried about PCR coming false positive.

No, saliva has over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission. You never had an exposure and didn't need testing.

Yes, you might want to, not all doctors are educated in HIV.
