Hello Everyone:
As we continue to move forward with AMG 06 we will begin reaching out to the various media in Montreal. We anticipate doing this in approximately 2 - 3 weeks. Our plan is to contact print, television, and radio.
The information/release will be fairly basic (size of group, 3 continents, 5 countries etc). It will also emphasize who we are as a group, our very broad rainbow (gender, age, sexuality, length of time since diagnosis, and ethnicity) (When you think about the members attending we have someone representing nearly every face of this disease), and what makes us unique and interesting with a powerful message. We came together via this web site from all corners of the world and are gathering in Montreal to celebrate our bonds, rekindle our spirit, and rejuvinate our courage.
In anticipation of the possibility(emphasis intended--this may or may not be requested) that some media may want to get a more personal (individual) story, it has been suggested we prepare a list of those members who would be willing to "make themselves available", so that if the request is made we can provide that list quickly.
So that is what we are doing. We are asking anyone going to Montreal who is willing to make themselves available to send the information we requested above via pm.

Rab.... I'm waiting for Marc to ask his boss for the time off. I'm hoping to fly into Louisville on the 16th, picked him up and fly into Montreal on the 17th. I've never bought tickets on line but Marc says its easy so I'll be posting the arrival time as soon as I know it. You are such a character. Definitely can't wait to meet you! You bugger!
