Wet frottage HIV?
« on: June 09, 2014, 03:51:59 pm »
I am a male, who one week ago, I visited a female "massage therapist," during which the following UNPROTECTED acts were performed:

Fellatio (BJ)
Rigorous Rubbing/grinding of genitals (girl on top), NO INSERTION INVOLVED

Some additional points:

the girl's vagina was very wet when she was grinding my penis, as she had an orgasm shortly before via fingering, so vaginal fluids were definitely present.

Questions:

Could I have contracted HIV as a result of the aforementioned acts?
Is it possible the virus could have entered through my urethra or tiny breaks in skin from shaving penis/plucking hairs the day before?

Thank you all in advance.

HIV is sexually transmitted from unprotected anal and vaginal sex . Getting a BJ and vaginal fluids are not a risk for HIV . HIV is far to fragile to be transmitted in the manner you are concerned with .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Hello,

4.5 weeks ago, I engaged in frottage with a female "massage therapist" whose vs final fluids were present on my penis. After the incident, I tested negative for chlamydia and gonnorrhea, and took two HIV RNA tests at 9 and 14 days, both of which were negative.

One week after the incident, I developed a sore throat that lasted for 2 days, immediately followed by a runny nose that lasted for two weeks, and how a very dry, scratchy throat I've had for the last couple weeks. I have not had any other symptoms.

Can someone please tell me how accurate the RNA test is at 14 days, and how much of a risk I was exposed to during the incident? Thank you all so much.

Please only post in this one thread no matter how long between forum visits or the subject matter . You can find your thread by going to your profile and selecting show own post and it will take you here .

You have not had a risk for HIV in any of the activities you mention so if this is your only concern in the last 3 months then you can count your test as conclusive that you do not have HIV .

Thanks, Jeff. When you say activities are you referring to the frottage? And where did the 3 months comment come from? Also, is an HIV RNA test accurate/conclusive at 14 days?

Thanks again!

Yes, I meant you did not have a risk for HIV in any of the things you did . If this is your only concern than the then the test is conclusive that you do not have HIV .
