Welcome to the "Do I Have HIV?" POZ forum.

This special section of the POZ forum is for individuals who have concerns about whether or not they are HIV positive. Individuals are permitted to post up to three questions or responses in this forum.

Ongoing participation in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum (posting more than three questions or responses) requires a paid subscription, with secure payments made via PayPal.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Do I Have HIV?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

Hi Ann,Andy,Rapid Rod and other members of the forum! i have been reading your commends and i found them very useful.i have a question.a lady gave me unprotectedthen  blow job one minute or less a year ago!i had no cuts on my penis.since then i have plenty things going in my mind.since last 3 months i have white tongue,sore skin some times,sores on my tongue,i used fluconazole for my tongue it didnt work.my tongue gets better some time but not for long time.my feet feels burning in the evening.i know oral sex is a very low risk.do you think that im that unlucky to be infected?
lm scared to death here,please help me!

NO and if the fluconazole didn't work you don't have thrush.

Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Not low risk, NO RISK.

Take your mouth to see your dentist or doctor and quit self-diagnosing/self-prescribing. Whatever is going on has nothing to do with hiv.

 :) Than you for your answear Ann.l have been thinking hiv for a year or more n that was my only risky behavour! looking on internet searching for my symtoms made me even worse!
 i red that you were saying if you have thrush it hurts a lot! so i shouldnt have oral thrush then.! Rapid rod said that too!
my doctor gave me fluconaze for 2 weeks it didnt work either :o

Just because the medication didn't work -- that doesn't mean you're dealing with HIV. Because you are not since nothing you have reported was a risk for HIV transmission. Go back to your doctor or go to a different one and discuss your symptoms. They have nothing to do with HIV. Period.

hi im back again,i went to see my doctor yesterday n he took a swap from my tongue,i will get results within one week time,he also tald me to consider hiv test to put my mind to rest,
he thinks its very unlikely to be hiv,but im more scared now :o

That's good if not surprising news about your negative swab test.

Whatever is going on symptomatically with you has nothing to do with HIV.
