Merry Christmas
« on: December 24, 2016, 10:13:02 pm »
Or, your choice of your preferred holiday.

While sitting here on Christmas Eve I've reflected a touch.  I'm finished putting together the kids presents and am looking at our tree with the associated presents strewn underneath.

This is my first Christmas.  2016 has been a bitch to say the least.  I don't dwell on my firsts often.  I am a little tonight because I'm thankful I'm healthy and my wife is as well.

Thank all of you.  From Jim to leatherman to bocker to zach to mech and many others.  Although sometimes we may not agree on everything, I feel like this place is a bit of a sanctuary where we all have a common bond.  You guys have provided me hope, information, and a calmness about everything. Even indirectly by me just reading responses from the members here I learn and I begin to see things from a different perspective that I otherwise wouldn't have.

From my family to yours, have a joyous holiday season and a fruitful new year.

:) I hope you are having a great Christmas.

As for 2016 being a bitch and dwelling on your first...Well my 2017 wish for you is that next Christmas, thoughts about HIV do not even come to your mind, let alone leave you with anything to dwell on.

Thanks Jim.  With you and the others in this forum I'm sure I'll be able to grant that wish.
