Hello everyone,
I find myself in a critical situation right now.
Over 5 weeks ago, I had sex with a sex worker where the condom slipped, and I had unprotected vaginal sex with her for 1-2 minutes.
After two weeks, the typical flu-like symptoms appeared. From a dry throat, rash cough, headaches, breathing problems and loss of appetite.
In the 3rd week, I took a blood test which came back negative, but I am pretty sure it was a false negative.
In the 4th week, I then got oral thrush and athlete's foot.
Now I also have neuropathy. I took another blood test this week, and I'm expecting the results next week.
The real dilemma now is that everyone in my family is showing HIV-like symptoms. Literally everyone. From dry coughs, fever, fatigue, etc. I'm ashamed to say this, but after this risky contact, I continued to masturbate a lot and then cleaned myself in the bathroom that my family also uses. What if they got infected this way?
To be honest, I don't know what to do anymore. Hoping for a miracle, but I've already lost all hope.

Zero HIV risk.

Nothing to do with HIV from the broken condom encounter. Talk to your healthcare provider and treat whatever is making you feel unwell and I hope you feel better soon. Please don't post about symptoms again, thank you.
critical situation
It's not, no drama required. You had condomless intercourse and should test.
To confirm your HIV status, test at six weeks post potential exposure with a blood-draw (lab) HIV antibody test. The result at this time will rarely change, and retesting at three months generally isn't needed. I also recommend you get tested for far easier to acquire STIs.
Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, every time, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV
Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV might still pose a risk for other easier acquired STI's. So please do get tested at least yearly for STI's including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.
Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms, and the only way of knowing is by testing.

I've heard that during the early stages of acute infection, the viral load is very high, which increases the chances of transmitting it to someone else. That's why I'm feeling so worried. But yeah your right, only a test can give me the answer and peace of mind , i need right now

Completely irrelevant. A high viral load doesn't change how HIV is or isn't passed on.
Have you been having condomless sex with your family members? Have you been sharing syringes to inject drugs with your family members?
If the answer to these questions is a "No" then they are not at risk of acquiring HIV from you.

In brief, adult HIV risks are:
* Sex; Condomless intercourse & a minute (theoretical) HIV risk if you give a blowjob.
* Sharing drugs rigs (Syringes)
* Blood products/ transfusions (Rare nowadays in most nations thanks to screening)
The family touching your cum in the bathroom might be gross but it's not an HIV risk.

no, except for the situation with the bathroom, there wasn't really any risk between me and my family.
