We spent most of the holiday time unpacking after moving into the house we just purchased 3 wks ago. (I :-* LOVE :-* my new house, btw) We did take some time off to meet up with the family for dinner a few days before Christmas though. By the time we had finished all the unpacking we took some time off to go to a NYE party with a bunch of good friends who we have met up with 10 yrs in a row now. ;) :D

Spent Christmas day & St. Stephen's Day (Boxing Day/2nd Christmas day) with the kids. Spent the day unwrapping gifts, eating too much sugar, fat food, playing games and watching movies. Classic Xmas Movies "Die Hard" & "Die Harder"  ;D

New Years I was making "Oliebollen"

New Years eve I stood in line at the "Gebakskraam" for over half an hour just to buy them fresh. Bought two dozen however no body ate any, and ended up throwing them away.

Did you make the batter from scratch, or was it from "Koopmans" ?

;-)

These look like  loukoumades, that's how we call them in Greece. I usually put nutella on them haha.
I wouldn't really care what I ate,it matters that I had my grandparents celebrating with me.
The barber at my grandparents place asked me "why are you here" and I told him I came to see my grandparents and he answered "you are quite unique then",that probably gave me the sad realization that I'm the only person from my country to visit my grandparents at 23....But I don't care,I love them

Oh man I used to love getting them from the Gebakskraam in the center of town comming up to Xmas/New years. Did not know you were over in The Netherlands.

Koopmans, no from scratch of course, no cheating with Koopmans. ... Thought only because I can't get Koopmans Mix here  ;D I did make my own "Kroketten" as well as I fucking love them and this year someone tipped me off to a shop that had imported Dutch "frikandellen" ... I eat 20 in 2 days with Mayonnaise  ;D ;D

Xmas with Mrs & kids. Santa. Xmas day to see parents. A few days after, spent several days with relatives in the countryside. Ate lots, and more, loads of chocolate. Early nights, plenty of rest.
Took a few extra days off after New Years too as I hate coming back to work after the holidays, in face it's 9th Jan and I'm only starting work proper tomorrow.

Well they look good!

Hey emililadjet - see you are new here. I'm assuming you are poz...Would be really good for you to post an intro, how long you have been living with HIV, what your numbers/treatment is and so on. It's alway good to build up a picture of new posters and helps provide a bit of context for many of the newbies who are floating around observing the forums.
