Update on my mousie and school.
« on: January 02, 2007, 04:56:39 pm »
I don't know how many of you remember my little mousie, Morgan. He's the little screwed up black feeder mouse I snatched up from the pet store. I thought I should let you guys know how he's doing. xD.

Two cases of mites, infected wounds from the back of his neck to the base of his tail and severe upper respiratory infection later, he's absoutely fine. He's just an old man now. xD. I'm grateful because Morgan has turned into like this encouraging little creature for me. It's because of how much we share in common. But I've been through all of that with you guys. xD. Morgan has a small fan club and I thought I'd just update you guys and let you know he's doing fantastic. He cheers me up all the time and contributes a lot to helping me feel better when I can make him feel better. He is so chubby now, even though he tries to run on his wheel, he's older and doesn't have a lot of energy so he's been gaining weight and he looks like a little black bear. xD. <3

And in other news, I'll be starting the cyber school thing quicker than I thought. Thank God because I'm starting to go insane having nothing to do with my time but sit around (and read... I've been doing a lot of reading... lots of trips to Barnes and Noble).

I haven't even chosen my classes yet but I'll let you guys know what they're going to make me take?

Hey Jaser...

It is good to hear that Morgan is doing well. Also, good luck on your ventures with Cyber School!

Y'know Jaser, I can kinda relate, as Sweetie has manifested all of the symptomology associated with an insulinoma, which are fairly common in ferrets. I have been able to keep her quality of life normal by insuring she gets high protein (strained meat baby food) meals evenly spaced over a twenty four hour period.
Like you, I availed myself of the research, implemented everything in my power to, and watched closely, her overall state of wellbeing.
I have been so rewarded for my vigilence, as have you.
My furry friend is of utmost importance to me now, as people will almost always let you down.
