I have read the book but I don't have HBO, so I will have to wait until I can rent it on DVD.

No True Blood, are you mad man?!?

I've seen the first three episodes I was just wondering if Mecch was watching for any reason aside from potential eyecandy.  It's been a bit slow to develop in my opinion.

The acting is very good. Good production design.

The acting and scrips are so god awful bad on Falling Skies I looked for another sci-fi/fantasy to hold my interest.

Also I saw the hype about Peter Dinklage's Emmy nomination and wanted to see what the fuss was about.

Also women were trying to figure out what to think about series with non stop whores and supposedly the principal women all come into their own and its true, I can see that will happen.

OK thanks. I heard about that one two.  One or two good scifi or fantasy are always nice in the summer.

I liked Pam on True Blood this week. I want that fucking jacket with the spiked shoulders and black gems!

I really liked Game of Thrones so far. Was a bit upset with a certain character's demise towards the end of the season, but I'm anxious for the rest of the series. Just as I am for the Walking Dead.

I thought that this was going to be a thread about German scheisse videos.

Just sit your ass down and watch it, you can't be moppin' the kitchen during this show, You're gonna miss some of the subtle nuances.

The guy who sees all the wavelengths kinda freaks me out always doing the weird hand gestures.

And your right, it's a pretty Ok show, but all in all it beats all the summer reruns

He's got an interesting personality.  I guess it is supposed to be like Asperger syndrome.

I thought the escaped guy in Ep 2 was sorta sexy so I am sure he will be back cause they haven't found the body.

I like the materialistic babe who mind-fucks everyone to give her luxuries!

And the super senses young woman - so she is obsessive compulsive about germs and boundaries?

Still, it ain't nearly as "grand" as Game of Thrones.  But its simpler and better than Falling Skies.  Falling skies I do watch cause it has some good production design.  Game of Thrones was great to watch closely all the details, and the acting is quite a cut above.   True Blood seems to be petering out with me, its just not that intriguing or exciting anymore.  Though I like the production design a lot.

And what the fuck was that homo dream Jason had???

Zombie thread !

Are you still watching the show? The new season is starting in a month! Did you like the ending?

I really like this sort of serie. I remember reading the first novel a decade ago! And the first season rendered it pretty well. There were scenes that were exactly the way I pictured them.

Can't wait to see what is coming!

I'm still working my way through A Dance With Dragons.
