bc,

Kissing is NOT a risk for hiv infection. I would advise you to come back when you're sober and read through the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0).

I would also thank you to not refer to women as sluts when posting on this forum.

The only real danger in this situation is that you were/are so friggin' drunk out of your mind. It doesn't seem as if anything took place beyond some kissing, which is not a risk for HIV transmission. But drinking excessively is a dangerous condition in which to start fooling around sexually because it diminishes your ability to negotiate safer sex.

So how about you stop behaving like an adolescent loose on the town and lay off of the drinking when you can't handle it! No kidding.

As far as HIV is concerned I don't see any cause for concern here nor for testing.

Hi andy/ ann

Thanks you guys for taking your time to reply back. guys i am going to write a story which will be helpful for all ww. i was here around three years ago and had gone literally crazy cos i had protected encounter with two sex workers(by the way ann i am sorry to refer to women as sluts itwas the tequilla), i actually had visited a psychaitrist and maan i was in a position to die. then when i tested at 6 weeks my result was indeterminate so now you'll can imagine what i went through. but then the results were always negative for 2 years that i tested along. I spent 1000's of $'s for tests. i did get married and had a child as well and during pregnancy the hospital also conducted hiv test as a routine with all the other test on my wife and she was fine as well. i had decided that i will never in my life sleep with another woman may whatsoever. And yes i have been here in china for the past 7 days but i never slept witha woman maywhatsoever. i did get carried away and touched here and there but never went further than that, never got a lady to my room cos i cant take the fear. yesterday i was trashed but yet i did come home check my lips for cuts i remeber not smooching on lips but ya only kissed around a lot and she licked my ears. But i came home washed my self checked myself for cuts and brushed twice.

My only worry is herpes, If any 1 has any info please pass it on.
Thanks guys,

Love ur life......................
Be SAFE and try to abstain from sex with unknown ppl.

Some general info about herpes:

It's transmitted by contact with herpes sores that are commonly on or near the mouth, ass  or vagina during the carrier's outbreak periods. It can also be transmitted even if no visible sores are present. That's called "asymptomatic viral shedding."

Symptoms usually first appear from 2 to 20 days after exposure to the virus. Sores which appear in clusters tend to be preceded by tingling sensation around penis, butt, mouth and may or may not also be accompanied by swollen glands.

Visual examination by a doctor at site of sores is usually enough to diagnose herpes. Several tests are available to provide a more definitive diagnosis.

Dear All

I did post a few weeks ago but cant find my old post so i am starting with a new one. I was in china in October and was sharing a room with a friend. He called a sex worker for a bj and before he started i was in my boxers and she was wearing a micro mini skirt and i don't remember if she had worn anything inside anyways i made her sit on my lap with clothes on and as i was erect my genitals might have popped out ( i ain't sure) and been inserted by mistake in hers (she was with her skirt on). I know this sounds funny but later on when i went to the toilet i noticed some colorless fluid on my genitals and i am not sure what it was. Any suggestions.

You didn't look very hard. I found it in 5 seconds...

And this new information doesn't alter the previous "No risk" summary of your previous post.

bc,

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

The colourless fluid on your penis was probably your own pre-cum from being aroused. If you've never noticed pre-cum before, well, there's always a first time for everything. You didn't have a risk.

Hey all

Thanks for the reply and ya sorry for the new thread. The problem with me i am very very afraid after the incident which i was involved in 4 years ago and now have developed a phobia of HIV. Though i am very very happy with the way my life is going on and do not indulge into heavy sexual act with an unknown person but ya sometimes my mind wanders and gets back into place within few seconds of wandering, which i think is good for me.

Anyways you guys are really great and the job that you'll do for people i don't think i can ever reach to a great position like you'll. I have been visiting your site on and off but some of you people are really dedicated to this site and helping people which is great.  I wish the best to all of you people.

You were never at risk of contracting HIV from fingering. Cut or no cut.

How to go about WHAT?

You didn't have any risk for HIV transmission so there is no need for testing. Period.

If you continue surfing the net you will find all sorts of stories about how people claim to have been infected. Under careful scientific scrutiny those claims don't hold up.

You need to stop looking for misinformation to feed your fears. Get on with your life. Really.

Dear Moderators

Hope you are doing well

My concern  is i went to a sauna center and as i entered my middle finger was bleeding at the bottom of my nail i just wiped it and forgot about it. 20 minutes later i fingered the sex worker with the same finger apart from that i got an unprotected blow job which i am not worried about. I did not have sex as i have for many years stopped having intercourse with unknown people as with the nature i has i tend to get panicked really fast.

It is my humble request to please let me know the level of risk with the fresh finger bleed and fingering episode as i am really concerned about it as even after 3 hours now i can feel the pain.

Thank you very much

Relax, you have not had a risk for HIV infection.  "Fingering" is not a risk for HIV infection, especially if you are the person "fingering."

The theoretical risk for fingering is the recipient of "fingering," not the active participant.  In either scenario, there has never been a documented case of "fingering" facilitating the transmission of HIV.  You will most certainly not be the case.  Move on with you life.

Dear Moderators

I was with a CSW last night and after many years opted to do this in a drunken state and it was very stupid of me. So there was lip kissing unprotected blowjob for 10 seconds and protected vaginal sex. But the girl decided to remove my condom and the biggest stupid mistake I did what to wear that condom again now I don't remember if she removed full or partially but eventually I know that surely I put it back on. after that Vaginal Penetration lasted for around 1-2 minutes if I remember correctly so at this point I don't know whether the condom slipped during penetration or withdrawal but definitely was not there on me when withdrawn and I did finish on her not in her.
now I am highly anxious as the country where I live does not allow to openly speak on this matter and definitely no PEP option available.

please help me analyze my risk and guide me to the testing.

is PCR RNA testing accurate if so when can I do after possible exposure. Also are these tests or any HIV tests accuracy affected by COVID 19 vaccine.

Thank you in advance for your kind help and assessment.

Hiya,

Kissing, getting a blow job etc are not HIV risk to you.

As for the intercourse, sounds like you were drunk and can't recall what happened.
If there was condomless penetration, it's a potential HIV risk.

Test with a blood-drawn HIV antibodies test at 6 weeks post-incident, a non-reactive result at that time will rarely ever change. If you wish you can re-test at 3 months post-incident for peace of mind. No need for PCR testing and the COVID vaccine will make no difference.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Dear Jim

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

I do remember everything just that I put on the same condom back on again and penetrated around 2 minutes after that. now I don't know wether the condom slip was during penetration or withdrawal.

also please can you enlighten me on the accuracy of pcr rna test and when can I take that.
Title: Re: Fresh cut on finger

I don't recommend the PCR, it's unneeded and I've given the testing guidelines.

As for what you remember, if the condom fully came off during the intercourse it was a risk. If you are talking about it just riding up or coming off during withdraw it's not an HIV issue for you.
