.. than to be delayed at the airport, sitting in a departure lounge, with a grandstand view of the mangled wreckage of the crashed 777 that caused the delay.

.. or so I keep telling myself  :-\

Have a good holiday.  Flights should be running back to normal later today, Saturday at the latest.  Plane to be moved within 48 hours.  Until then, it will probably make more than a few nervous travelers second guess leaving the island for some fun in the sun.

Try as I might, I can't help but wonder if my bonus went down with that plane.   :'(

No. “Operating as normal” = Your flight will not be cancelled and will depart some time today; but please be very patient, because we have a rather large object with no wheels at the end of our South runway. Enjoy the view.
